Carvery was nice, sadly the day was spolit by some unsavoury characters who started fighting in the garden, not a great site for my young grandchildren, the owner should have sked them to leave, probably would not go back

Not are normal eating destination but am very glad we give it a go, the food was amazing! Best carvery I have ever had!! We were a little disappointed that my wife had to wait almost 30 minutes for her hot chocolate but when we asked about it was they in a flash! These things happen unfortunately but it was soon put right! Will 100% be back!!

The staff catered for 50 of us in a group and they were excellent. Polite, graceful and efficient service.

Food brilliant. Staff brillant. Price brillant. My only thing i didnt like was food served on a wooden board. But it wouldn't stop me coming back. I would however ask for it to be on a plate. Best food ive had in ages

Lovely rual pub and well looked after. Attended for a private funtion. Food was really excellent. The people who worked there were nice, eager to help and attentive. Bar prices were similar with main high street pubs. Lovely setting and close proximity to the rail tracks allowed us to also watch old steam and regular trains go by. If you are spending time outside in their garden/deaking then suggest sensible foot wear. There is plenty of space for youngesters to run around as well. Plenty of parking.

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at The Allerford Inn and it was truly amazing. All of our guests commented on our fantastic the food was (we had a carvery), the atmosphere and surroundings are beautiful and we had a wonderful day.

We were greeted by a very nice young man who was very friendly. The choices on the menu were just the right amount so choosing was easy. The food was delicious so we will definitely be returning.

all 4 of us adults had the carvery and it was very nice, we all said that we would have a carvery at the Allerford again. My 4 year old grandson enjoyed his sausage,chips and beans and chocolate ice cream. The staff were polite and helpful.
