Lovely food wonderful staff but it was so cold where we sat it made the whole experience awful. Some of our party kept their coats on to eat. When the staff were asked they told us the heating was as high as it could go.

Enjoyable carvery, very tasty. Good all round meal notably enjoyable yorkshire puddings and gravy. Horseradish lovely but beware, hotter than some proprietary brands so take care.

Came to a funeral tea this week and the location suited a very large group of people and the buffet was very good.

We visited today following on from a recent visit during our nephews' wedding day. We had enjoyed the feast on the day and were wondering if a repeat performance was on the cards... We were not disappointed.

We arrived in good time and parked right outside in the disabled parking area, on entering we were warmly greeted and an order was taken and a table provided (number 11). We were told to wait until the coaster-like item on our table vibrated and when it did we could go up and collect our carvery, this is an awesome idea, it saves staff having to track you down to let you know.

After about five minutes the device burst into life and nearly gave me a cardiac episode as it pulsated around the table. We went to collect the carvery and the chef seemed to recall us from a few weeks ago when we had a little chat. We were given what I can only call size 11 shoe-like slices of meat (I had beef and turkey, my wife had pork and turkey), and they filled the plates. We helped ourselves to an awesome array of items including Yorkshire puds, peas, carrots, stuffing, and cabbage there was a very good selection is probably something to take away from this.

We enjoyed our bountiful feast and perused the dessert menu (this was probably our greatest mistake!!) I ordered a Smores Waffle and my wife had the roulade and oh my by the time we had finished we could feel our "food babies" ready to be birthed... We were fit to burst, honestly, if a sharp implement had got close to me I would have burst and a fountain of semi-digested carvery would have erupted!!

I would heartily recommend visiting this awesome establishment, I know my wife and I will be back, once we have fasted for a few days :)

Always a great Carvery, also the Ham egg n chips are lovely too, the 2 slices of ham are succulent thicker than anywhere else and cooked just like the doctoc ordered. Great staff too

Nice place nice staff. Food was not great. No flavour or taste to it. I was really looking forward to it. Maybe an off day hopefully. But judge yourself. I don't like doing bad reviews. But want to be honest.
