We are Friends of Hestercombe and visit it very regularly. The snowdrops are starting to fill the slopes and woods. It was a very pleasant and peaceful walk around the grounds. We had a welcome cup of tea and slice of cake at the pop up cafe in the house whilst the kitchens are being refurbed.

Very pleasant and peaceful place to visit. A mixture of regular design formal plant beds and woods with two lakes together with a waterfall plus the original household containg various artworks and a rather delectable tea room for afternoon tea.

Lovely place for a walk to get away from it all. Cafe is very nice but a little pricey. It is hilly so using a manual wheelchair is hard work.

Went ice skating with an organised group kids all had fun, but the drinks price was extreme! £2.20 for a 200ml carton of pip squash...u can buy 4 for £3.50...bit much for kids in terms of price and not a lot of drink in the carton!!

Good. Clean. Coffee and cake = OK but some prices are a little high although I am assuming that the money is going to help up keep the estate, which is well worth a very pleasant walk with most of it invaled accessible.
