My experience with Howdens was very reassuring that I would get exactly what I needed to cover everything I needed for my home insurance. The staff member that I spoke to was polite, friendly and very helpful.

I've been using Whitehouse insurance which changed to A plan and now Howden insurance for a few years. Now using the commercial arm for my business.
No massive call centres just 1st class service. Cameron Birby from the Basingstoke office who sorted my insurance a few weeks ago was fabulous.Highly recommended 👌

Once upon a time, insurance was easy. You spoke to a person, explained what you had and what cover you wanted and it got sorted. Then along came online insurance and it has just got more and more complicated. I recently purchased a T6 van with a view to carrying out work on it to convert it into a day camper. It would also be our only vehicle so would be used for shopping etc. The insurers I was with at the time didn't want to know. So after seeking recommendations I spoke to James at Howdens. He made it so easy to get the exact type of cover I wanted. I sleep easily now knowing my camper in progress and camping equipment is properly covered.
