I have my insurance with Howden because I prefer the personal service that you get with being able to speak to someone on the phone or walk into their office and speak face to face.

When we struggled to get an acceptable price for our car insurance renewal through the usual screen scraper channels we decided to try a broker. After completing the call back request I was contacted by phone within the two minute window and redirected to Liam at the Salisbury office. It was 4:30 in the afternoon but he still cheerfully laboured away for 45 minutes to get us a deal we had been unable to get near before. The benefits of a broker are the more nuanced approach whereas the online quote sites are too black and white in their tick boxes. Liam was really friendly and appropriately forward which made the long phone call a real pleasure. We will certainly consider Howdens again for our insurance needs as a valuable new tool alongside the screen scrapers and companies that "don't appear on the screen scraper sites". Thank you Liam.

This was an excellent service provided by Luke in the Worthing branch. Polite, thorough and extremely helpful. I am very particular about travel insurance and the provision of a good claims service (should the need ever arise), is something I value above the cost of the premium. However, we needed the services of a specialist broker because of the special circumstances that had arisen. All but Howden I contacted said they didn't have the expertise. And at Howden, Luke Morley at Tooting was that expert.

I tried to take out insurance with you but it became too difficult regarding sending photos and information so went with a company with a human based customer service. On you information it said i did not send some documents etc. the insurance would be void and money taken would be refunded 44.68 pounds. no refund arrived and now you are saying you will take next months money soon !!! what is happening and why
