I renewed the house insurance in one simple, but thorough, telephone conversation. I got through immediately to Kimberley Phillips. No sequence of buttons to press, and no piped music, and a pleasure to talk to a real person. I had taken over the insurance from my late wife, so was, in effect, a new customer. Kimberly was understanding, friendly, but clearly efficient, and came up with suggestions and alternatives, including finding the best substitute insurer when that proved necessary. I can honestly say that I enjoyed talking to Kimberley, unlike my recent car insurance renewal. I'll certainly be looking at renewing both with Howden next year.
