I took out House Building Insurance with Howden in 2023 when undergoing extensive renovations - they were the only ones to find me an insurance company that would support my needs. As part of that experience Howden staff made a note of when my Building Contents Insurance was due to be renewed. They were able to provide me with a quote that was less than half of my existing provider. I have to give a ‘shout out’ to Catherine Smith in the Tooting Branch for patiently working with me to ensure I got a matching policy at a great price. Thank You Catherine!

I have been with Howdens (the new name for A-Plan) for my Van insurance and previously my car since 2018 .
Nick Smith dealt with the renewal and I was pleasantly surprised it was a bit cheaper than last year he was very knowledgeable and helpful and gave me full information about the policy called me back when he said he would great lad thanks.
He asked me if there was any other insurance that Howdens could help me with and I mentioned House, he put me in contact with a colleague who would deal with this and I spoke to Jack Pratley, who was also very knowledgeable and helpful, he explained all the information about the house policy in great detail and answered all my questions fully.
Both of these lads had a very nice manner and I wouldn’t hesitate in requesting them respectively again in the future.
