since the premiums are so expensive there is little that howdens or any other insurers can offer the customer in terms of value for money however thank you for your service

I had a quote yesterday from a very friendly Charles for my modified focus st which has quite a lot of modifications to say the least 😛
£580 which I thought was a good price considering all mods and the power.
I wanted to wait for my renewal from Adrian flux which actually came a couple of hours later the same day which was £390 but I had to call them to add a fault claim, they came back with we can still insure you but it’s going to be another £300 which I said cancel my auto renewal.
Phone back up today and spoke to Lisa who again was very friendly and I said I wanted to accept my quote, she didn’t take too long to get it all sorted.
So a big thank you to Charles and Lisa for keeping me insured for the year to come from next month

From mid-June to mid-October 2025, I have received the most excellent support at all times from Howden in dealing with a claim which spanned both buildings and contents insurance. My claim was handled initially and most helpfully in June through their Wimbledon office; since July, Justyna Zielinska-Duarte, Team Leader – Claims, based at the Tooting office, has given invaluable support and guidance at every stage. I am in my mid-90s, and very deaf: Justyna’s efficiency, especially in co-ordinating clear communication between me and the insurers and contractors, together with her kindness and patience, have enabled me to get through a difficult time.
I would like to add that I and the neighbour who has been helping me, have much appreciated the occasional help of other members of the Howden team.
I have no hesitation in giving a 5-star rating.
