I have an imported Nissan NV200 so it doesn’t show up on comparison sites. In addition, it’s been converted into a camper van. This is my third year (or fourth) with Howdens. This year’s premium has not increased since last year, even though I’m in my 70s! I can highly recommend this company for shopping around to give me a good price and for their friendly and very helpful service.

I recently renewed two policies. Both were dealt with by the Frome office (James and Lewis).
The service was professional and very helpful. Importantly, the renewal prices quoted were fair and acceptable. I prefer to deal with local providers, if possible, and am happy to remain a Howden’s customer.

My late husband always used to handle all our financial dealings, including insurance policies, as he was so much better at it than myself. However, since he passed away I have had to take on those tasks myself, requiring a fast learning curve. Today I had to renew my house insurance policy and wasn’t looking forward to doing it, but having spoken with Catherine Smith (Tooting branch), that process was made much easier than I expected by her helpful manner and patient explanations. I have alway used Howden and would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
