I have used Howden (formerly A Plan) for years for my horsebox insurance. They have always been very friendly, efficient and helpful. Maybe sounding a little old-fashioned, but in this digital age it's nice to speak to a person and they always provide a very competitive price.

Have always received prompt and great service both at renewal time and on the thankfully rare occasions when needed help with a claim. Dealt with Emily all way through renewal of car insurance. Been with Howden for five years and I like that they are local, accessible and the consistent way they operate. Phone calls are easy with friendly clear well delivered English and politely spoken operatives, this is very important to me.
In these times of ever increasing price hikes, Emily did her utmost to provide me with a best possible renewal price and this included a reduction to original quote based on my partner and I having our home insurance also via Howden Insurance. This I appreciate very much.
