Having been rocked by a 31% increase in the renewal quote from Direct Line for my wife's car, I made a quick call to Howden's Newbury branch. Luke was able to provide a like for like quote - actually, the excess was reduced a little - and save me over £150 in the process.

I have used Howden insurance in the past and always found their customer service to be excellent. It was on this basis that I went to them to insure a small second car. Their advisor was polite, efficient and very pleasant to do business with and made the whole experience simple and pain free. I rang Howden Insurance to give them the opportunity to quote my car insurance renewal at the High Wycombe branch. I can honestly say that Ewan was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable throughout the whole experience. The price he quoted was very competitive.
