Howden had previously arranged renewal of a policy on a car which I sold shortly before the renewed cover was due to incept. I then agreed to buy a new car for which Howden recommended a different insurer. The new car was not delivered when expected which involved insuring the old car under the new policy and delaying inception on the new car. Then the new car was delivered and the old one traded in which involved yet another change. Howden took it all in their stride with admirable efficiency and patience. It would have been quite impossible for me to have dealt with the problem without their assistance.

David who i deal with is absolutely fantastic. He is so knowledgeable and has a relaxed but natural approach to what he does and this makes you feel at ease and wanting to do business with him. The quote he got me was far better than any other - highly recommended company

Was looking for a cheaper quote from my existing company. Looked up over 70’s insurance. Howdens popped up and hey presto! They were able to reduce it by nearly £200. Very helpful staff, explained the policy - what was included - answered questions fully. Had to ring for policy documents which were a little late arriving, but staff were very helpful and they were sent straight away. (Small error on email address)

Howdens were recommended to me by a friend so I decided to give them a try. I don’t like using the various search engines to find a good rate of insurance because it takes me far too long to decide which insurance company to use. It was such a relief to hand the search over to Howdens. They found a good deal which I agreed to and now my car is covered with insurance for another year. Thank you Howdens.

Had quotes in the past from A-Plan but they could never beat my current insurer's prices. This time round they beat it by ÂŁ40 and seemed to offer more cover for the money. Shame they don't do online quotes, but the lady I spoke to was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.
