Very good experience with Howdens - slightly disappointed with the cost of my car renewal price - was lowered considerably after i went elsewhere, BUT have taken home insurance out this time at a good price, the staff are great and they send out a paper copy out too! Would recommend

Possibly not the cheapest insurance out there(car insurance in this case) but you talk to a real person. That does all the work. Whether that being getting a qoute or dealing with a claim. When some other online are cheaper but have no real person to speak to. So all well until you need something sorted. And Howden forfill all that you want

So far I've only experienced the buying of the insurance, which they predictably uphold, but the additional items were cheaper than the alternative car recovery quotes by a.mile, and the insurance itself was very well priced. More importantly, this is a local branch with real people, and that matters.
The customer service has been exceptional so far. Hopefully I will not need to make a claim on any of their services, but if the occasion does arise, I'll be interested to see how well it is handled, especially outside of normal office hours.
