They are always very helpful and I have used them for years. They take all the leg work out of finding a cheap policy which can be a real pain for someone like me who is not well not and not very good with the internet. I really enjoyed the personal touch of this company. Although, I could have got my car insurance slightly cheaper on a comparison-site, I felt that the this was outweighed by the reassuring and informative conversations that I had with James, who was very attentive and helpful. James went above and beyond to get me the best possible price and I know if there is a claim in the future, I will be able to speak to him about the way forward.

I like Howdens and they have a very personal feel. The consultant was very helpful and more crucially the price was very competitive. I'm a 57 tear old guy and was insuring a 2 grand van that was 22 years old. So, it came in at 350 ish pounds and that's great for me. I've been with Howdens/A-Plan for a good few years now and they are always friendly, competitive and great to deal with. The branch I use is Horsham and Howden's seems to run a decentralised model where each branch is autonomous. This seems to work well and my quote was good saving me from trawling through insurance companies for a day or two.
