I was looking to renew my buildIngs and contents insurance following an exorbitant renewal quote from my current provider.
While in Solihull on other business, I called into Howden’s offices to get a comparison quote.
I was greeted by a smiling young lady on one of the front desks. Her name was Amy. She was so thorough and so helpful. While with her and after clarifying my specific requirements, she phoned a couple of specialist insurers for quotes. In each case, they were more competitive than my regular insurance company. Amy was very professional, customer focused and a pleasure to deal with. After providing me with all the relevant information to take away and consider, my decision was a ‘no brainier’.

After spending over two and a half hours to cancel with my old insurance on line, I decided only to get my insurance face to face so went in to HOWDEN in Salisbury when the young man Liam Leverton dealt with my needs I believe he went above and beyond to help me understand and got me the best deal he could, so refreshing to deal with a real person he is a credit to you nice to see companies putting customers first thank you.

Like Howdens becsuse slways possible to talk to a resl person who knows what they're doing.

Had a good and fair price from Howden,had been on comparison sites initially and on first glance seemed the best option ,however when got to the nitty gritty of the quote the add on’s did not turn out to be as good as Howden’s quote,hence happy with the price ,service and friendly staff,all good.

I contacted Howden Insurance today requesting some last minute house insurance. I spoke with Sophie Frampton and she was an absolute star. She was patient and happily explained everything in detail. She answered the many questions I threw at her. I was unable to commit to the quote at the time as I had to get permission from others and ended up ringing the team 15 minutes before they shut. Sophie was available and again patiently explained the many new questions I had, re-reviewing the quote with lots of little changes. She even stayed on the line past closing time so that we were able to make sure we had insurance in place before it ran out tomorrow. I appreciated the help and support.

My wife and I have dealt with both Emma Stokes and Ben Morris-Jones at the Cheltenham office over the last two weeks or so. Our dealings have always been a pleasant experience - both of them remaing cheerful, patient and professional throughout all the various questions and alternative quotations we requested. The team at Howdens in Rutherglen are exceptional. Whether it is a general question or some specific requirements eg temporary cover for a driver, they deal with the request in a professional , efficient but friendly manner. The last renewal I had was for building and contents and Melanie did a brilliant job on seeking the best options for me. She is a star- the whole team are.
