I was called out of the blue regarding home insurance I said I had contents but was there anything else, my car Ins was due and they gave me a quote , unfortunately I had to go with my old Ins company, but Jane said she would give me a call re home contents nearer the time , we spoke to each other about other things and I found that I preferred talking to someone, Jane always phoned when she said she would and to me that made all the difference to where I spend my money,even if Jane had said the contents Ins was higher for the year I would still go to Howdens. And I felt even if I turned the offer down it would still be convenient to call again to check I was ok and if I ever wanted another quote they would be there, more like a friend than someone wanting to take your money
