A friend of mine recommended Howden’s car insurance when I asked friends for recommendations on Facebook. He said he insures all his work and personal vehicles with Howdens and the have been absolutely brilliant. I called them straight away and so far I have been delighted with the personable service that Howdens have provided, listening to me and calling me back when my previous insurance expired. As an owner of a 'classic' vehicle that's only driven when the weather is nice I wanted to find a limited mileage policy which suited my needs and provided me with the right level of cover.

I rang the wrong branch but was immediately put through to the correct one. This was my first motorhome policy but was led through the process easily. The price came back with a major firm about £10 more than a firm on the internet I had never heard of so went with them. Good service and all the documents were emailed immediately. Will use for the renewal quote.

I originally had insurance through Mercer Jones as I like to deal with reputable local companies with a personal touch. I was initially concerned that Howden, based in Macclesfield, would be remote and inaccessible.
