Wonderful service from Jon at A-Plan and the full team. Makes a huge difference to actually have the phone answered by a real human being with a phone line that is not suffering the delay of international calls. Also being issued with paper insurance policies which to me are vital! I will use this company all the time.

Got insurance for my vw transporter T5.1 converted into a camper. I found A-plan to be very helpful. Frazer gave me great advice. The cover he found for me was miles cheaper than others and the best bit is my van is insured for the correct value should anything happen. Fantastic customer service. Would highly recommend.

My family and I have been with them for 6 years and they have been so helpful in figuring out what policy would be best for me and for explaining and simplifying parts I was unsure of or didn't understand.
The Guildford branch was my main contact and the staff there were friendly and a pleasure to talk too. I would like to specifically recommend and commend Edward Harris as I had spoken to him on a few occasions over the years prior and he not only helped me majorly with sorting my car insurance but recognised me and engaged in friendly and polite conversation in regards to my current wellbeing whilst still maintaining a professional air.
If your nervous about looking into insurance or unsure where to start, I would recommend A Plan.

I have been with Aplan for 30 years, for car, family accident and home insurance. They are not the cheapest but their service is excellent.
I particularly want to commend their Abingdon office for providing excellent advice during a recent claim process (Aidan).
Other branches of Aplan I have found very good and used are Aplan private In Farnham, landlord insurance in Leamington Spa and family accident cover in Bury St. Edmunds.
The only criticism I have is their use of Kindertons , a no fault car accident claim agent , who were a complete disaster on a recent claim (see my separate review). I am not sure why Aplan wants to be associated with such a dreadful business.

Wanting to buy my first panel van to convert to a day van and struggling to find an affordable and practical insurance, I rang this company and Jacob Hambidge took me through all the various options that were available and found me the ideal insurance that allowed me a period of time to do the conversion, had European options as part of the deal and also with a great level of cover. He spent a considerable time working on this and I cannot recommend them enough. I have had to alter some small details once I had actually bought the van which was done quickly and efficiently by another team member over the phone. Excellent customer service and products.

It's always really easy to deal with A plan. This time George (Branch Manager) from Colchester branch helped us find a new policy for my elderly parents. They had just renewed each year with the same company and never queried the quote, like so many older people I would imagine. George found the same policy for literally half the price of what they were paying. He explained it really well so my parents could understand it all - a really great experience for them as they were nervous about swapping companies after all these years, they really didn't think it could be so simple. Just insured my Ford Mustang with A Plan - got straight through on the phone and dealt with Lisa who is fairly new. Brilliant service, she followed up with email advice on how to create an account because I was struggling.By far the best experience I have had in dealing with insurance and crackin, flexible deal.
