I always will get a sample of quotes and will let APlan know if I can get a like for like policy cheaper elsewhere. It has always been my experience that APlan are able to match or better the quote.
Having a local agent that you can go to in case of a problem is also a bonus as they will do the heavy lifting for you if you have to make a claim.

Consistently exceptional. If you are ex-company car drivers as my wife and I were, then I highly recommend Asad at A-Plan. He took the time to explain the vagaries of the car insurance market and what to take into account when selecting a product. No hard sell. We did our own bit of internet searching as you would. However, Asad, who was also working really hard on our behalf, found much better car insurance deals for us than we could. Come renewal time we'll pick the phone up to Asad and A-Plan.

Poor Archie was certainly put through his paces with all my changes of mind on insurance requirements on house move, including vacant property and unoccupied property. He stuck with it, checked with underwriters, gave useful clear advice and stayed cheerful throughout. All against the clock as well as exchange took place earlier than expected! Good value on the final product as well.
