Excusing the cold call by Tia, we have been former customers of John Lane for an awful long time as he and one of his assistants in the Gosport office (Bob Crouch, sadly no longer with us) were both friends and sailing companions, racing against each other in catamarans in Stokes Bay..

Phone was answered quickly I did not have to wait. Explained I had recently had a quote for an additional car but had now substituted this for a different model. Went through the usual process of answering questions and ended up with a perfect quote underwritten on a Classic Car Comprehensive policy for £249.45p which included breakdown cover as well. Dealt with Richard Smith who was helpful and friendly and immediately e-mailed me back confirming cover was in force and policy documents will follow shortly
