Yes you might find a cheaper quote online but the most important thing about insurance is when you need to claim and that is when you need good reassuring service and professionals taking care of everything on your behalf.
You have a the same contact most of the time. There is an office in Sevenoaks so I can go in (exc during Covid) and not have to spend time online like other companies, or on the phone if I don't want to.
Would def recommend. Have car and house insurance with them.

I found that the broker dealing with my car insurance ,Hereford branch , gave e excellent service . Which ever member of the team you speak to are extremely helpful and answered any questions i had with a professional manner. I would recommend the Hereford branch of A-Plan to anyone looking for a good deal .

Would usually use the internet however with COVID I thought I’d try a local insurance company. I rang A-Plan Taunton.
I rang A-Plan, spoke to Adam who was extremely professional, polite and helpful. He did a quote and.....
Not only have A-Plan saved me money, they’ve also given me a better level of cover and if I need it (hopefully I won’t) they’ll take care of everything for the next 12 months.
I was that impressed I’ve also moved our other family car to them (rang separately and spoke to Jamie this time who was also excellent)
I will definitely get them to look at my Home insurance when it’s due to.
