I've used A-Plan Insurance as my broker for Home and Contents Insurance for many years and have always found them very helpful and efficient. On the very few occasions that I've had to claim they have been great.
Once I had a problem with a repair contractor going bust and A-Plan sorted the problem immediately to my delight.
Another time the insurance company that was covering me went bust and A-Plan moved my cover to a new company immediately so I had no break in protection.
I highly recommend them!

The only problem I encountered was in relation to providing the documentation, ie proof of no claims and signed documents.
Although I provided them by scanning and e-mail them, there is no acknowledgement of receipt nor suitability.
This is particularly troubling as they are necessary for cover to be in place and time constrained.
It is relatively simple to resolve.... if they are ok, let the client know, if not, let the client know, if you are unsure, let the client know.
I already have a preconception that, should I need help, it wont be forthcoming.
Equally, I already have doubts that I will renew with yourselves, simplistically as I an unsure of your customer focus and commitment.
I am more than willing to discuss this review and to waive anonymity. Should A-Plan decide to accept and discuss this please feel free to contact me Alan Scurr.
Following the review above, I've had a telephone conversation with the branch manager, I must admit it was a very useful conversation and I am appreciative of the opportunity to discuss my concerns and am much happier for it.
