This company knows and appreciates the type of vehicle being insured and work to find the best policy. It was a hassle free experience and I would recommend anyone inmy situation trying to insure an old VW Campervan to give A-Plan (Thatcham Schemes), a chance to provide a quote.

I had good service on my motorcycle and scooter insurance.
However, today I had occasion to telephone local branch in Newport, Isle of Wight, re possible changing of my scooter. I was told that the person who deals with changes was not available. However, I was informed that they would phone me back on the phone, I was using. Six hours later, no return call and now office shut.
Not only is this bad business/customer practice, it makes me feel unimportant and is on my top 10 most hated practices, at number one ...i.e.. people not phoning back when they say they will.
Finally I was sitting at home with my phone next to me, all afternoon.

I've used A Plan for years and have recommended them to friends because of their competitive quotes. Unfortunately this year my car insurance renewal came in at £555 and I managed to get a like for like quote from Churchill for £329..... A Plan couldn't even get close to that. Shame as I'd rather give my business to a local company that employs locals..

Not only have they got me better deals on 4 of my 5 insurance policies. When I did have to claim (the first in 17yrs) - they went above and beyond the call of duty. Ali Fox in particular. She did at least half of the legwork in discussions and negotiations with the Insurance company and the Loss adjuster. They even held my keys for workmen to go in and out when I was away (although i probably shouldn't mention that!!). I trust them implicitly - the whole team were lovely on the phone - I probably spoke to most of them over the course of the 6 months. Brilliant - everyone should use them - an insurance broker on the high street - how novel.

Looking to insure an unoccupied property isn't straight forward but Aplan Insurance took all the hassle out of the exercise. They were polite, helpful and understanding - making sure the cover was exactly what I needed.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Aplan.

I have seen some other reviews that do not show A-Plan in good light.
My experience is first class service all around and very competitive to the point that all my insurances are now with A-Plan Hereford office. No doubt some of this is due to leadership in the office and has to be noted.
All the staff make me feel known and welcome whether in person or on the phone.
I have had to make a household claim recently due to fire and the claim was dealt with swiftly and effectively and took ALL the gassle away from me, exactly the service one looks for.
Any questions I have are dealt with first time and professionally or come back to me within the timeframe.
So, whether it be car, motorbike, house, travel or landlord insurance, ALL insurances are very competitive, service is too draw, all matters dealt with without hesitation.
I certainly recommend anyone to try A-Plan Hereford office

After looking on the INTERNET on those confusing compare sites and searching Google I found Aplane insurance services and gave them a try for my home insurance and I was given a price which we was happy with which fitted our needs and we was that happy with the service I called them for my car insurance and they listened to my needs and I was give a price that once again I was happy with.
