My partner & I use A-Plan for all our insurance needs - home insurance, landlords insurance and car insurance on 2 vehicles. We have always found them to be efficient and friendly and it is really convenient to have everything in the same place. Just one call and all your questions are answered. They are very competitive and shop around to get the best quotes when insurance is due for renewal. They also let you know when renewal is due so no danger of forgetting ( handy at our age! ). Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good local broker to take care of all their insurance requirements.

Yes I was happy to renew my policy. The price was great. Although this year I felt I was missed around with people from the Shirley branch getting back to me to organising the renewal. HAPPY IN THE END Norton home improvements

Have my modified car insurance with A-Plan Thatcham for some years now.
Prices are always competitive and there is no "game" each year of having to pretend to leave to get the best price. The renewal quote is usually about expected.
I can always get through to a UK based customer service advisor when needed (to add modifications) and that is worth the money alone!

I didnât appreciate the phone call from Aplan which was made initially as a result of my old provider handing over to Aplan.
I am always suspicious of âcoldâ phone calls, how d o you know it genuine? Eventually I was convinced partly because no details were asked regarding bank details.
My last comment is that I received the final letter but this asked me to complete ,in 7 days , information, I phoned the office and this was not required after all! And I wasted time!

After trying other comparative web sites for a better price and paying, I then discovered that the agents/insurers had declined my insurance because a named driver, without informing me, leaving the van uninsured. I then returned to A-Plan as they knew about the problem and they were not much dearer then the above quote and a lot less hassle !

Use them for all my insurances car motorcycle house contents and building. I find them very efficient in contacting me before any policy is due and have had only reductions in payments so obviously competitive.
