It was a huge relief to find an insurer who is able and willing to provide car insurance for a self employed singer. The difficulties in getting insurance for my modest part time, local work, singing at the bedsides of care home residents, is ridiculous. Thank goodness I found Howden Insurance. It was a shame that their initial quotation was excessive, but then readily revised down when I didn't accept it straight away.
