After searching through comparison websites, insurance companies and brokers without satisfaction, on the suggestion of a friend to try Hiscox who recommended Howdens, I was able to get cover for an unusual requirement for an unoccupied house in the Uk where I do not reside.
I spoke with Howdens rep. William who put my mind at ease from the get go, reassuring me that he could help with my unusual requirements.
He was genuinely friendly and seemed concerned and empathetic and will be remembered fondly for his ability to communicate and sell his Company’s product with competence and grace.

A very personal service. The reason for not getting 5 * is basically I was hoping for a much more imaginative proposal , it appears to be just regular policy. I was looking for a flexible policy. That could take into account of my driving history. Rather than just my points. It was more expensive than high street policy but hoping this will change as I add services and vehicles and I get more of the type of policy I was looking for.

Helen and Andy were very helpful but on the day I spoke to them there seemed to be a problem with their technology and when you’re kept on hold it would be more relaxing to listen to gentle background music instead of persistent beeping!
