After trawling the comparison websites for hours and getting quotes from the same companies with increasing monetary differences, I decided to look on the Alpine Facebook page. This directed me to Howdens Insurance as being the most competitive for electric car insurance.
What was amazing was that I actually spoke to Debbie who efficiently took all my details and gave me a quote in minutes which beat all the comparison websites.
How refreshing to be able to talk to someone instead of shouting at my computer screen after hours spent trying to understand how the quotes could fluctuate randomly in their favour.
I would highly recommend talking to Debbie if you would like a competitive honest quote.

As always APLAN now HOWDEN is my go to insurance company we’ve been with them 10 years plus and have 3 insurance policy’s with them for modified vehicles, for us they can’t be beaten on price we try every year but they always offer us cheaper than anyone else

We dealt with Sam Sheppard at Howdens Tunbridge Wells branch. What an asset that young man is to the company. Your companies procedures are quite understandably thorough but protracted through the due diligence phases. Sam remained bright and engaging throughout. He secured our two cars insurance and tried very hard to secure our home and travel but sadly couldn’t beat our existing provider due to the high cost of your travel insurance.
He is erudite, engaging and absolutely the type of employee I would have employed in my pre retirement company as a Director in a customer service environment. Well done Sam and thankyou.

What can I say but brilliant. Rang to get a quote for trike insurance, got a lovely lady called Charlotte, but calls herself Charlie. Couldn't have been more helpful
in getting me the best deal at a good price. And to top it off I even got my content insurance at a lower price than previous from Rebbecca. Will be checking back when car ins is due.
