Extremely helpful explained anything I asked. Searched for the best insurance for me personally with experience and knowledge….. far prefer dealing direct than online.!!! Did not feel hurried or ‘a nuisance’ if querying anything ….would highly recommend. In the outcome price was slightly less than online quotes I obtained.

Howdens remembered when my renewal was due. Proactively contacted me. I was minded to check vs my longstanding Admiral policy. Received quote at about Admiral’s last years one, and then got Admiral’s renewal one, at £500 more (2 cars) penalised by recent SP30 speeding conviction. Howdens quote included for it. One car quote was from panel, but the other car, was from Howdens specialist insurer, which was willing to take the car on. I don’t believe I could have got this from any other insurer. Admiral offered £100 off quote, as I cancelled, trying to keep me.
I hope not to need Howdens till renewal, but expect that if I do, the personal accessibility (vs online/app firewall approach with Admiral) will be a much better service.

I was struggling with a particular insurance problem and saskia not only sorted it but helped walk me through the paperwork to check it was correct. I feel customer service is lacking theses days so for someone to go above and beyond is great. Even staying on late when the England game was on in the pub!

Shocked to get a real human being straightaway when I phoned. I spoke to Jamare! What a true professional: kind to an oap, courteous, helpful with my queries, patient with repetition and empathic with a good sense of humour. He has a calm voice as well. Above all Jamare talked me through every stage of the process . I feel I have an excellent policy suited to me on every level. Effortlessly and seamlessly delivered with absolute customer care.

Jamare should be giving lectures to others esp leadship and trainees on how to treat, respect and manage customers effectively. Jamare's qualities are rare! His qualities are sadly missing these days in this fast paced environment where results only matter damn the customer.
