Very pleasing experience all round, Having dealt with A plan in the past and given up because of the pushy, persistent agents, it was a pleasure this time to have Jamare guide us patiently through our needs and find us the best price. He was clear and explained all stages carefully and was happy to give us time to think it over, Jamare is clearly an asset to the company. We would be happy to recommend Howdens to anyone.

My mother's insurance company declined to provide insurance for her house following a move into a care home and suggested I look online for a new policy. I initially went with Howden insurance as they got me a good deal. I stayed with them because they were very personable and professional. To speak to a person on the phone and to know there is a local office that can deal with an incident should it happen, instead of trying to deal with a call centre in India or South Africa when the person has no knowledge of the situation you are trying to describe.

Howden a Insurance is an excellent service whilst they are brokers which like many others find one an insurance cover , they also help you very well if you have to make a claim which many brokers DO NOT , THIS IS A GREAT PLUS IN MY OPINION

Friendly staff ( by phone ) and on the face of it a decent company and in my case a local one, however, insurances are a gamble and most people may say their insurer is good but add that they`ve never claimed and that`s the crucial bit.This place don`t give up and call each year to no avail but actually managed this year to beat my long standing insurer quote so I swapped over. Not used a broker for many years and having admin fees of £55 was a shock and whilst this years price was achieved at discounting many add-ons it`ll be interesting to see if they can be as competitive next year when I won`t be a new customer. Haggle time I feel !
