I was with A/Plan for years and was told to shop around for better prices which i did and went with Adrian Flux as this was cheaper .What a MISTAKE they were terrible in dealing with a claim ,Never again.
Went back to Howden was A/Plan local to me in Ipswich very friendly team and if any problems you can go and see them in the office instead of phoning and getting cut off like the other company after 2hrs on hold . Howden 100%

Called in without an appointment to discuss cover for my wife’s car. It was slightly complicated but Tara explained how she could resolve the issue and then proceeded to research policies to provide the required cover.

She was professional, patient and had an extensive knowledge of her subject, it was really nice to sit and talk to someone rather than wade through the experience on line. I will go back when our other car is due to renew as I was so pleased with how Tara dealt with it.

I spoke with Patryk Pietras from the Tooting Branch and Nicholas Francis. Out of all insurance companies I spoke with today (I spoke with a lot my brain feels utterly fried!) Patryk and Nicholas were the most lovely and helpful people I have had the pleasure to speak to, to get my van and business insurance sorted with. They had patience. I've just got a van which is going to be my only vehicle for personal use and I'm setting up a gardening business so it will also be used for my business. Patryk and Nicholas went above and beyond to help me as I'm new at starting up and getting things sorted that I needed to and I now have my van insured and myself insured for the business. So I just want to say thank you so much for being so kind and helpful they are both an asset to the company.

Superb service from Danny & Amelia at the Weybridge branch over the past year. I tried Howden's after my previous car insurer (Privilege) cancelled without telling me due to a system error, whatever that means. Often tricky insuring a Japanese import, but they found a decent rate with Prestige, and I subsequently added my electric car as that was becoming difficult to insure. Thanks!

I've been using the Frome branch starting very shortly after I moved to the town and wouldn't change a thing! It's helpful to have any insurance needs under one roof. Absolutely everyone is friendly, helpful and extremely skilled at finding good deals, even with some pretty niche requirements. Firstly we were annoyed with the fact that we were given very short notice to renew the motor policy and in did complain by email. It has taken over 2 weeks for the certificate of insurance to arrive in the post and this was after 2 telephone calls chasing this up! We had previously been with Mid-Counties Insurers for a long time and never had any reason to complain about the service.

Howden provide an efficient, and importantly for me, a personal service. It is very helpful to be able to discuss with a real person. In my case this was Maria from the Welwyn Garden City branch who was excellent. The quotations appear to be competitive. All in all Howden provides a very good experience

How lovely to converse with a real person, no stupid bots or click 50 boxes, open an account, create a password, put in the code from the text received.,,, Thank you for making insuring my old car easy. I had no idea that keeping my old car for occasional use would be so time consuming ion the much quoted “so much quicker/easier on line” NO IT’s NOT !!!
If only the Millennium Bug had been real… but until something similar folks, we have these people. No BS, no misleading waffle, just simple, plain, old fashioned conversation, that strangely enough, allows you to get the job done.
