My wife and I have dealt with both Emma Stokes and Ben Morris-Jones at the Cheltenham office over the last two weeks or so. Our dealings have always been a pleasant experience - both of them remaing cheerful, patient and professional throughout all the various questions and alternative quotations we requested. We felt that they actually wanted to speak to us, rather than simply get our business and move on to the next customer.

The team at Howdens in Rutherglen are exceptional. Whether it is a general question or some specific requirements eg temporary cover for a driver, they deal with the request in a professional , efficient but friendly manner. The last renewal I had was for building and contents and Melanie did a brilliant job on seeking the best options for me. She is a star- the whole team are.

I had occasion to make a claim today and was forwarded to Nicola at the Tooting office. She was extremely helpful and considerate, making the process easy and anxiety-free. Despite having a computer system which was not working at its best, she managed to log my claim without any fuss. At all times, she was courteous and considerate. Thank you, it's rare to find such good customer service.

I was offered a cheaper car quote than my renewal cost with my current insurer which made me switch back to Howdens as I have other policies with them. They did waive some admin fees to beat my online quotes, but I have always been happy with the service from Howdens and previously A-Plan. Documents are stored online, which means yet another app to download, but this is fairly easy to use. My one gripe is that my Motorbike policy is not available via the app, but apparently they are working to fix this. Will have to wait and see what next years renewal price is, as I always seem to have to haggle to get a fair deal.
