We have been with Howden (previously A-Plan) for many years and have always had excellent service. Our house insurance is due for renewal and the quote for the next year was considerably higher than last year. I have always dealt with the Cheltenham branch, so I phoned them for a chat. I have to say that the service I received from Kyle was quite outstanding. He was patient, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. In a short time he had suggested a few minor tweaks to the policy that reduced the cost of the new premium by nearly £200, resulting in a very satisfied, happy client. I can't recommend the company too highly.

Wonderful service from Maria in the Welwyn Garden City branch. She took time to understand my situation and car insurance requirements. Meeting face-to-face is so much better than an online comparison site, and the premium was competitive too.

Molly Aldridge was amazing. Really helpful, explained everything really clearly. Took me through multiple different options. Really understanding on what was a very stressful morning beforehand and persevered through the call even though my connection dipped at times. Having reached my renewal time I did the usual price comparisons and came up with a much cheaper equivalent. Phoned Howdens and spoke to Tay who was able to pretty much match this new quote. Yay was lovely to deal with whilst also being super efficient and clear about the whole renewal process. Highly recommend dealing with this company, Tay is a credit to them.

Just wanted to say Thanks to Richard Spencer for helping me understand the issues I have been up against it getting a sensible car insurance quote, unfortunately due to factors outside of his control I haven't taken out a policy with Howden Insurance. But would have if I had been able to get a sensible quote.

I had the pleasure talking with a Mr Paul Reaney to discuss a US Import insurance policy for my vehicle, and he was absolute pleasure to deal with and provide a very compressive breakdown of my policy and was very transparent with all information. Customer service today from Chantal Vince from Tooting branch) has been outstanding: we are going through a difficult and complex renewal as we had our vehicle stolen recently. Chantal has been so understanding and patient whilst she worked extremely hard on getting us the new quote for the replacement vehicle which we took out as it was a good value and good service.

I spoke to Hali in the Swindon Branch on several different occasions whilst sorting out my car insurance and to get home insurance quotes. She was so helpful and polite and was a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble and she phoned/emailed regularly throughout the whole process until it was complete. I am a returning customer and would highly recommend them.

I submitted an online request for static caravan insurance last night, and was phoned the following morning by Rebecca at the Bromsgrove Branch. I chose A Plan/Howdens as we have 2 other vehicles insured with them. I've found the customer service exceptional. Importantly you can always get through on the phone without holding and switching departments.
Rebecca is a credit to your Company. She went through our needs and advised she would call back the same day before 5 pm.
I was delighted that less than an hour later Rebecca called back, unfortunately I couldn't answer and she left a voicemail. When I returned the call to the Bromsgrove branch I was put straight through to Rebecca. She provided detailed information on 2 policy's so I could make an informed decision.
Rebecca was thorough with this insurance, and also advised re referrals and other products for the future. I wasn't aware that pet insurance was a product that is available. I am know, and will be getting in touch when my 3 policies are up for renewal.
As I mentioned we have 2 car insurance policies and have always found APlan/Howdens to provide exceptional service. Thank you and keep up the good work.
