Went to an evening musical event with over 800 present.
Well presented, drinks in the interval, toilets are across the road, sound system and extra screens for live links for people at the sides with pillars obstructing the stage view. So well organised including security.

Lichfield Cathedral Candlelight Concert on Sunday 21st December 2025.
Visited Lichfield with my family to attend this event. Got to say I really enjoyed it. Well organised, good security team with superb crowd control in place.
Always a safe place and environment to attend with your family.

Beautiful cathedral that had Christmas Tree display inside. Inside stunning, almost breathtaking. Outside also stunningly beautiful but the stone work is very very grimy with years of dirt and I suspect pollution. Don’t be put off by this though.

We had a lovely visit to the Lichfield Cathedral. Highly recommend going for a visit if you’re passing through or live nearby.

Lichfield cathedral is very beautiful and hosts a variety of events, with friendly staff, but accessibility is an issue as only the front entrance is suitable for wheelchair users or those with poor mobility. Additionally the toilets are located in a separate building on the other side of the street, which you have to go over a cobbled street to get to. It is lovely and worth a visit, but if you have mobility issues, this is something you should take in to consideration.

Love this place. Words can only describe it as breathtaking! Regularly visit with my daughter. It is a must visit ! The outside alone is astonishing but take a wonder inside and be prepared to be amazed and in ore at what you’ll see
