Beautiful cathedral to walk around and yours available on site. We visited as a school group and the children had a fantastic time learning about the architecture and the cathedral itself. The staff and volunteers were friendly and helpful, well worth a visit!

We arrived late so we didn't get to learn the history of the cathedral. One of the largest cathedrals that I have visited. Beautiful artistry inside. Well worth a visit if you are in Lichfield.

Lichfield Cathedral has many examples of our history within it. I am not religious but the beauty of this Cathedral is stunning, the people are also welcoming and friendly. The city itself is also small and friendly. I also recommend a visit to Erasmus Darwin's house and garden. Minster and Stowe Pool are perfect for seeing ducks, herons etc and are lovely to walk around (even in the rain). Lichfield is my favourite city, plenty of places to eat, shop, or sit, relax and reflect

We have been to the cathedral before, but went to see the Threads Through Creation exhibition, which was beautiful and thought provoking. Lichfield is a lovely city and the cathedral is worth a visit if you haven’t been before. It’s unique because of its three spires. I withheld a star because there was a lot of pressure to give the voluntary donation, which really felt more like an entry fee. I don’t mind giving and usually do, but the cathedral is a place of worship and prayer where people should not feel they can only enter if they can afford it. I know these places require a lot of funds for upkeep, but let’s remember their purpose.

Well spent time visiting the Cathedral. Entry is free but worth giving a voluntary donation. Lots to see and read. Lots of history. Lots of parking but chargeable. We found street parking free 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral.

What a beautiful cathedral, it makes you feel totally calm. The stained glass windows are fantastic along with the carvings that must have taken an age to sculpt.

My friend suggested we go to see the embroidery on display and how amazing it was. Visited the shop, purchased some lovely magnets bookmarks and cards.
So enjoyed, even though I probably visit every month.
