I have been to Lichfield Cathedral on many occasions.its a interesting to visit and learn about the history of the cathedral. It is best to get a tourist guide when visiting the place, plus they have a gift shop inside the Cathedral.

Beautiful as always, the ladies and gentleman on the door and within were so polite, well mannered and welcoming. The little play area for the children was a nice touch, the collections of historic bibles and other tapestries were fascinating, and the gift shop was very nice and affordable.. the lindasfarne mead also is a must to try! Thank you all at Lichfield cathedral

This was our first time visiting Lichfield and thought we would take alook at the Cathedral and WOW what a spectacular view...The building was amazing the character within the structure was just out of this world.

We entered and a service was due to start so we had to be quick in taking some photos the inside I must say was such a beauty it made me feel emotional totally outstanding structure.

Definately worth a visit.

I have lived in Tamworth for years and keep meaning to go to the cathedral, I decided to go on the spur of the moment to take my son out who is autistic. We both really enjoyed it and the staff told us of events to attend for people with special needs and dementia which my dad has. Really looking forward to going back. Lovely helpful friendly staff. Please go and have a look.

We went to see the textile/quilt exhibition and were not disappointed.
Beautiful quilts in a lovely setting.
No tickets required, entrance "fee" is by donation on exit.
I will definitely return to have a good look around the cathedral next time.
Lots of lovely volunteer guides around, who knew how to leave us in peace and still be there to assist us.

Entry is free, but they ask for donations. The cathedral is beautiful. Visited on a weekend not too crowded in February

Amazing architecture, I attended the Eucharist Service (Wednesday) which was lovely. We had to leave after so was unable to see all of the cathedral. There is a lovely cafe on the grounds, and a shop with a good selection of gifts, books, jewellery and more. 🕊️✝️

What a treat ! We had an amazing opportunity to have a Lichfield cathedral tour organised through work. Our guide Graham was extremely knowledgable and pationate about the history of the cathedral. I would definitely recommend the tour as it is filled with amazing facts of the rich history :) Thank you Graham

This is on my list of pre 1500 AD Cathedrals to visit.. so far do e 22.. This is one of the best I've seen so far.. Not only the building, but also the people that welcome visitors to the place. (Note: all staff at all of the Cathedrals I have visited have been great)
This has free entry.. but I always make a donation (with gift aid) as it helps with the continued upkeep of the church.
The "staff" are very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the history of the Building.. Willing to impart their knowledge...
Make sure you look around... Notice the Mason's marks on the pillars... look at the "Bible exhibition".. and make sure you try and the "Green Man" sculptures/effigies...

A unique breathtaking cathedral with three peaks. The walls and stained glass tell different historical stories of kings, bishops and the people who ruled these lands over the years.
If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend that you take more time to immerse yourself in the history that this beautiful cathedral will tell you.
