La Cathédrale de Lichfield est d'une absolue splendeur 🤩🤩
Son architecture Gothique avec ses trois flèches élancées, est tout simplement époustouflante.
À l’intérieur, l’atmosphère est empreinte de sérénité, sublimée par des vitraux éclatants qui dansent avec la lumière.
Le chœur et la chapelle de la Vierge sont des trésors d’élégance, tandis que l’histoire millénaire du site, remontant au 7e siècle, enveloppe chaque recoin d’une aura mystique.

An absolute treasure: Wonderful to look around, have a guided tour, and listen to a concert. Do not forget to look at the very old buildings around The Close, particularly the ones near Erasmus Darwin's House.
The hundreds of statues and gargoyles that adorn the walls of the cathedral are wonderful to see. Also, the resident Peregrine Falcon protecting its territory is absolutely marvelous.
Well worth a visit or two.

This was my first trip to Lichfield. This Cathedral was beautiful and kept really nicely. just forget the time and relax in there peacefully. just donate some.

Beautiful. You do kindly feel forced to donate something to enter but I guess it’s understandable. They had a very cool display of medieval bibles which was very interesting even if you are not religious.

A truly special space. From the genuine warm welcome at the front door to the overwhelming feeling of reflective calm in the nave, Lichfield Cathedral gets to you in the very first minutes.
We were so lucky to have a kind and knowledgeable guide to show us details that would have been so easily missed. The detailing in the stone carving is phenomenal. I am truly surprised that Lichfield Cathedral does not have a higher profile nationally. Well deserving of a visit.
