A really beautiful building with many statues and decorations on the outside and some spectacular marble sculptures inside. Only a donation for entry. Could have walked around for hours.

Evensong is free, I'm surprised there are not more people attending Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays at 5.30pm. It is a beautiful escape from the rat race. Gorgeous music, gorgeous architecture, wonderful sense of peace and superb refuge from the madness of the week. Wednesday evening has become the high point in my work week. Something I look forward to, a midweek marker and chance to decompress.

Astonishingly impressive building with a unique history compared to other Cathedrals. Excellent hour long tour with the wonderful Peter. You learn so much that you wouldn't if just walking around on your own.

first visit with daughter for artisan market.. 15minute walk from train station. toilets and cafe across road.

very busy and a queue to get in the door because you are counted. lots of volunteers on hand. all friendly especially the lady in charge of giftaiding forms.

range of stalls inside. local businesses especially food. cake stall recommended. we tried sausage risoto from italian store. daughter enjoyed i found too spicy. no rubbish bins inside.

we were asked for a donation. happily given for an hour looking around the church and stalls. . a good community space.

impressive front with statues and doors. tower can be seen from across lichfield. intricate details. lots to see. good examples of stained glass

polite young lady in gift store . answer questions about saint chad of mercia. it is good to see young people involved in the church.. there is a statue but not information boards about patron saint

shame there were no tours of the tower. we will return

Lichfield Cathedral is a huge and stunning building. Its three spires are breathtaking, and the Gothic design, with intricate carvings and towering ceilings, is impressive for something so old.
Inside, the stained-glass windows fill the space with colorful light, creating a peaceful vibe.
It's a beautiful piece of history and worth visiting for anyone who loves architecture or historic places!
