The number of small businesses joining the Fresh Ways to Work project is growing and we have recently received a number of match-funded grant applications for company pool bikes, showers and other facilities.
Chartered insurance brokers Pound Gates, a company which provides insurance broking and risk management solutions to corporate clients all over the UK, are celebrating after winning an award for being the best employer in East Anglia as well as achieving both the ISO 14001 and 9001 accreditations.
Fresh Ways to Work has access to a match-funded grant to help support greener travel for 80 Suffolk based businesses. The grants may be used for shower installation for those walking, running or cycling to working, cycle racks, pool bikes.....No reasonable idea refused!

Ipswich based insurance brokers Pound Gates Ltd have been awarded the prestigious "chartered insurance broker" standard by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). The conditions required are rigorous and to date less 100 companies are chartered.
