Positives - Dinosaur experience is great, animals are amazing, lots of play areas. So great for families.

Negative - toilets need a revamp very old as do baby change facilities. Food overpriced and mediocre...id also encourage healthier choices of both food and drink in restaurants. Thrre is however lots of space for picnic. But 1.80 for can of drink...ii know prices are going up but still...
Overall - great day out for a family with children but some areas like toilets and restaurant needs a relook and revamp and are quite dated and quite honestly looking in poor condition.

Great day out. Didn't break the bank either. Everywhere was clean and litter free. Lots of interactive things to do. Stage shows and talks. Food area was clean and reasonably priced. The portions of food were generous. If taking a picnic, plenty of places to stop and eat around the park. Blue Lagoon was fun, not huge but it is only a paddling area. The water was clean and smelt like swimming pools. Well done PWP great day out

Thanks to my misses for an awesome birthday here. Loved the Tigers and lions however the Jurassic Park section was the best.

Went with little expectation but overall had a good time. I was there with a 14 years old, and did an event they had put on in the evening. Without a doubt the Dinosaur exhibition made it, to the extent that without it the rest would have just been boring. They do have a couple of tigers, and some lions - but as tends to be the case - a lot of the animals were not around. It's clean and today which is good but not the greatest experience. The catering section was under par.

Really like the dinosaurs and their movements. The wildlife side of things was great too. You definitely need a day here. The only downside was the some of the games near the playground didn't work despite taking your money, that aside though we had a good day out

This is one of the best Zoos around, simple as that!

For young children it’s brilliant, so clean and well maintained - plenty of things to see and do, plus the soft play and multiple play areas help to keep them entertained. The park is laid out in a way it always feels like an adventure. You turn a corner and suddenly there’s a massive monkey enclosure, or a big bird display area.

The dinosaur adventure is fantastic too, combined with the train ride entertained the little ones for ages.

My only criticism is the lion enclosure feels a little small .. we had an amazing view of 3 beautiful white lions but perhaps their enclosure could be bigger.

I didn’t try the food, there’s plenty of places for picnics and I always find it easier bringing our own stuff.

Will definitely coming back when the beat enclosure opens

Envelope though it appears to aimed at young families with children an older though young at heart couple really enjoyed a day here.
Loverly to see the animals and the big cat areas had large glass panels so you can see and take pictures of them without the horrible wire mesh pictures which is the usual in places like this.
We were very impressed with the dinosaur area. The life sized mod3ls are powered and move when you get close to them. We thought they had managed to almost give a feel of what their habitat might have been like.
Recommended day out for all.

We reached in the late afternoon due to traffic, relatively small zoo but was a good experience. Red panda, lion and tigers were the highlight. We had our picnic , so didn’t buy food. Did not have time to go to dinosaur side. Will go again

I have been there twice but they have recently created dinosaur park which is worth seeing it, I was expecting more animals as they still have limited but hope to see more in future.

This is quite a small zoo, and while it does not feature large animals like elephants or giraffes, there are a good number of species to see, including white lions, which are unusual in British zoos. The lions and tigers have both got nice new enclosures since my last visit, and a new enclosure is being built for the jaguars (though this sadly means they are currently off-show). The reptile house is small but features some interesting species, including reticulated pythons and an African dwarf crocodile. There’s also a separate building housing a beautiful anaconda. The wolf enclosure is rather disappointing, being made of wire mesh that inhibits photography and also hidden away under the trees, so it’s permanently in shadow. Other animals on display include snow leopards, zebras, tapirs, penguins, meerkats, red pandas, gibbons, lemurs and marmosets.

There is also a ‘Jurassic Park’ area with animatronic dinosaurs, a fossil dig, a shop selling dinosaur gifts, and so on. Lots of children were enjoying this, and as a dinosaur-loving adult I found it fun too. There are several play areas around for children as well.

I did not eat in the restaurant so I can’t comment on the food there, but I had some very tasty chicken bites at a kiosk in the dinosaur area. The ice cream “parlour” (actually just a kiosk – you have to eat outside) provided various ice creams and waffles, which were good, but the service was very slow – it took almost forty-five minutes to serve four families! There seemed to only be one person serving and she was rather rushed off her feet.

To sum up, a fun day out, especially for children, but be prepared for some queuing.

A good family day out. Alot of the animals were hiding away because of the heat but you could see some. They're building a new bear encounter so alot of the park was shut off.

This is a great little zoo. My son (age 7) has been watching one zoo three on CBBC so really wanted to visit. Spent about 5 hours here and went round twice. Also made use of the splash pad which my son enjoyed. Saw loads of animals, the lions were amazing and the new tiger enclosure is really lovely. My son is a HUGE dinosaur / Jurassic world fan so he loved all the Dinos. Unfortunately the Indoraptor didn’t seem to be working but he was thrilled to see Blue, Beta and the Indominous Rex! The Dino meet and greets were great and we met an Ankylosaurus. He missed the queue for meeting a ‘real life’ blue, and unfortunately started crying when he realised! But your staff member who was looking after Blue was so so kind and let him come up for a stroke and a photo at the end. This was so kind of them and it made his day so thank you for that (I don’t catch her name unfortunately). All in all a good day out, not the biggest zoo but still lovely to visit.

I visited with my 12 year old daughter midweek. I would say it is more tailored to younger children. There are some great animals to see and our favourite was the White Lions, however some of the park was closed off due to refurbishments. The park doesn’t seem to have the natural flow of others despite us having a map. The bird show was really good, albeit short (15 minutes) and you don’t get to see all the species of birds, they do some in the morning show and some in the afternoon. We completed the park in 3 1/2 hours but that may be due to the age of my daughter. There are some great play areas, a splash park, soft play and a dinosaur area which we didn’t explore, but I’m sure younger children would love these.

Amazing day with amazing weather. The Dino park is definitely worth the visit, I did not expect it to be this huge with different types of dinosaurs, all animals were out and was amazing to see. There was only the jaguars missing but states in website as having a referb but didn’t bother us as a lot more to see. There was a pool for kids to play in which is ideal especially when it gets a bit hot. There is many more to come with I noticed on my wall today so the park will be bigger with more to see. There was many options to choose from when it came to dining and wanting a quick drink or ice cream. I definitely recommend and will be back again soon.
