Great dinosaur world and water pool for the little ones. Most of the animals were hiding in the shade due to the heat

This is a great example of a small zoo where the animals are given a good amount of space to live in despite the challenges of the zoo's size. The keeps were knowledgeable, showed car for the animals, and I watched someone have an experience with the red panda and was amazed by the confidence Ash had with the visitor. At times, there were a lot of very loud children, which could be annoying, but it's a zoo! The dual layer around the enclosures was a great feature, and there was a ton of interesting information. Didn't even go to the dinosaur attractions, and it was still an amazing time. 10/10.

(Rating: a bit over 4*)
A nice zoo, with a variety of animals, from some big cats through to some reptiles and smaller exotic animals like wallabies, iguanas, etc.
The complex is well maintained and clean and tidy and modernised but I was a bit disappointed that some of the enclosures seemed empty.
I think a sign that lists the number of animals and maybe their 'status' or times when they are awake would be helpful.
Or else an app that enables you to 'track' the animal (you might say this takes the fun out of it) would be good.
The Dinosaur park (with a small train that runs through it) is fun, both for adults and younger people.
There are also many facilities for children.
A worthwhile trip but average value for money as it is quite expensive.

Dino area was what we went for- cool animatronics which we later figured were motion sensors for the main large one! Went around 3pm which was feeding time for most animals so actually got to see most of the animals in a short space of time. Food at the main front cafe had halal junior burgers and halal adult chicken burgers at a really reasonable price! Staff were all lovely and would recommend

Buy your tickets in advance online to get them 10% cheaper or if you have a blue light card you can get 20% off at the ticket booth on the day for the card holder only, under 2's are free entry, big play areas, lots to see and do, bring a picnic to cut down on costs, drinks are rather expensive but it all goes to the running of the park and the conservation funds. They have a splash park for good days and a speedway museum which was the grandfather ( owner) Peters hobby.

Great zoo and kids play areas - good size for younger children due to its relatively compact size.

Dinosaurs were great. Unable to see a lot of the animals as they were either inside or hidden. Numbers on the enclosures that match the map would make it easier to navigate.

I did not grab many pictures as I was far too busy being excited and running around with the kids. A nice range of animals to see from goats to snow leopards. There are loads of toilets dotted around and a few food places. There are plenty of picnic tables around, some undercover, and there are plenty of bins around also, and it is very clean.
This zoo has a unic experience that I've never had from any zoo before, and thats the viewing galleries they have for the animals, not only can you view them from ground level, but you can get a higher view of most the enclosures too!
Plenty of animals talks throughout the day, and they do an announcement shortly before the talk start to remind you.
My only grumble, it isn't big enough! I would have loved to have seen more. You can easily get around the zoo twice if you spend a whole day there.

Was a good experience, nice day out and saw a lot of different animals. Sadly there was no tiger or lion out but that's probably because it was hot during the day

Not bad. Expensive for a small farm sized zoo. Claims to have extensive animals but in reality it’s quite basic. Good for young kids and you’re in and out quickly. I’d be highly disappointed if it was with older kids and you’d want to spend more time. Pretty poor value for money and wouldn’t go back. Dinosaur area, however, is good for younger ones but takes around 10 minutes to go around.

Good for a kids, small place, you have to be extremely lucky to see the Lions or Tigers.
