What an incredibly memorable and special experience!!! I surprised my husband with a meerkat experience, as he so totally loves these animals, and I would never have thought it possible to actually interact with meerkats and even feed them! Everyone in the park just played along, so my husband only understood what was happening the moment we entered the meerkat's home. A million thanks to all the kind staff, from the people answering numerous emails upfront, to the kind lady welcoming us, to the two lovely ladies we met at the discovery center, to wonderful Lucy who made this experience so very special. Lucy is such a passionate, vibrant and kind person. And finally, meeting the meerkats was just so totally exciting and amazing... an experience I will never forget. Will most definitely be back for some more adventures...

Brilliant place for all ages, large selection of animals with good access paths alongside & raised walkways suitable for pushchairs.
Good cafes and toilets plus various play areas great for kids of all ages. Free parking with plenty of spaces. Attended over Easter holidays so crowded but so much space over large area so plenty of room with seating at intervals to allow rest breaks. All in all an excellent day out. Several food and drink outlets offering burgers, hot dogs, chips, sandwiches etc. On weekends and holidays there are instructive talks at set times about some of the individual types of animals. The walk round the dinosaur trail is fun with life size moving audio models with information boards showing details of each variety.

We had a lovely family day at Paradise Wildlife Park. We had some great views of the red panda, sloths, lions and tigers etc. all the animals seemed happy and well cared for. We went during the weekend where lemurs were a focus and the team running the event were very friendly and engaging. The grandsons won some sweets and a keyring so loved it.

The dinosaur park was a huge success with my three grandsons, with good photo opportunities. It was muddy as it had rained and lots of puddles so I would suggest wearing wellies!

We ate in the Safari diner and the food was surprisingly good, with a special mention for the red pepper stuffed with chilli, was really nice. Burgers were also good.

Only downside was the Rex Express train, with 8 of us, there was £16 extra to be paid for what turned out to be a five minute circular trip with nothing extra to see. When we go to Colchester zoo the road train is free, you get interesting information whilst going round and it takes around 15 minutes. We were all disappointed and I would advise not bothering with it. The driver was friendly though.

All in all we would go again, all the staff we spoke to were helpful and friendly and we enjoyed our day.

We took our 6 yr old grandson during half term although he goes there’s often & was like a little tour guide.
We had a really enjoyable day - the animals all
looked well cared for & in good condition however the enclosures seemed far too small especially for the big cats - lions, tigers, snow leopards & camels.
The male lion was pacing up & down & seemed bored & the tigers were the same.
I appreciate that this wildlife park may take part in breeding programmes for endangered species & that is important but generally I don’t like seeing animals in cages & I especially dislike seeing large animals in spaces that are too small & without much enrichment or things to stem the boredom.

Great day out with the family. Great pricing for a family of 6. We went and ate in the bamboo kitchen for dinner, it's extortionate! We asked for sauce never got it, also portion size is a joke for the price £4.90 for small and I mean 4 mouthfuls the adults is even worse as its £7.90 and its about 1 more than a small, noodles were dry! I can say that the chicken was actually quiet nice, it's just a shame they charge so much for so little. Apart from that everything else at paradise was great and the children enjoyed them selves and were absolutely shattered after an eventful day.

We absolutely loved it the other day. All the dinosaurs are brilliant. The lovely animals at the zoo and birds show. The food there was good too.

Having been to the majority of the zoos in the UK I can say this is one of my favourites. There is ample parking. There are plenty of options for food. The exhibits are really well put together. I would recommend a visit to everyone.

Had a lovely day with 4 children. 5 year old was quite distressed by some of the dinosaurs (especially the ones attacking/eating the others)! Some nice animals to be seen. Overall, a lovely day.

We had a lovely day as a family of 4. The animals are what we came to see and they did not disappoint. The talks were really good and the animal keepers were lovely.
We did not use the playground side at all (apart to walk through to get to the beautiful wolves) our children are to old for the playground now.
The only slight disappointment was the quality of food at the main restaurant but its nothing worse than fast food restaurant's at the end of the day. Later on we found the noddle bar which look really nice.

The animals and dinosaur trail, why not massive, are decent. The food however, is barely worth describing as such. It is expensive and terrible.

A brilliant day out for the family. Although there were many families with young children around there is plenty to keep tweens and teenagers entertained too.
