We had such a fabulous day. We were a small group of friends and family and were at the park for the whole day and managed to get around it all. All the animal exhibits were fantastic but I especially loved the sunbears, their habitat was amazing and there were so many opportunities to see them from the viewing points so it didn't feel crowded.
We ate at the park and food was tasty and reasonably priced.
I will definitely be returning as there was so much to see and it is such good value for money. It was really lovely to see all the conservation work as well.

Good zoo with a nice variety of animals. The big cats obviously a stand out but there's a lot of others to spend a day admiring.
Dinosaur animatronics are actually decent and would probably be a big hit with kids.
Cafe serves tasty food also.

Even on a rainy day, this was a lovely day out. Kids really enjoyed themselves - they especially enjoyed seeing the lions feed!

Addition:
Bit the bullet and bought a membership. Best thing ever. So much to do and in only 5 trips a year, it's paid for itself. Plus, the staff are lovely - every single one of them smiled, said hi, how are you and waved and said bye on the way out too. A lot of places could learn some customer service skills from here!

Another addition:
We have been quite a few times now and continue to find new things to do and see. Parents and the little one not bored yet! Brilliant!

I hadn’t heard of this Zoo so my expectations were not high however it turned out to be a gem of a place.

Lots of animals, well kept and fun. Loved it - a brilliant day out

This is a great day out for the kids especially if you have any dinosaur enthusiast, however, in essence there is no benefit booking online as you are still made to stand in the main queue with people who haven't pre-paid? It would be more of an incentive to pay online if there was a faster queueing system for prebookers.

Food and drink is super expensive £2.50 for a can of coke which I bought regardless but had to laugh at the extortion.

Animals were great with good views of tigers and Lions in particular.

Could be much better if the process is improved.

Really knowledgeable and enthusiatic staff. Interesting setting,we proved the hilly nTure of the park but won't be for everyone. Soft play a good bonus rather than a destruction. And thr train ride is well worth it!

Quiet on Tuesday afternoon. Not recommend to visit on a cold day as most of the main animals are hiding from the cold. Other zoos are more accommodating for different weather. The zoo is small. Has a good amount of play areas so could perhaps be ideal for summer.. But on a cold day you wouldn't want to spend that much time outside. if you are going mainly for the animals- there are better and cheaper options. Not worth the price for 2 adults, a 2.5 year old and 1.5 year old(free). Most zoos don't charge for under 3 year olds. This one charges for over 2s. We only spent an hour due to the weather. So not worth it with 2 toddlers. We went home feeling like we wasted £70 on a one hour activity. The minus 2 stars are mainly due to the ticket price. I doubt i will visit anytime soon even in summer as i feel robbed.

Great selection of attractions for various interests and age groups.

Large Dino area with large animatronic dinos and good sound effects, soft play areas and plenty of playgrounds and large fire trucks, trains and diggers to sit in with slides. Good variety of animals with emphasis on big cats, white lions, tigers, snow leopards and jaguars.

Enclosures are nice as they have large viewing windows and often have easy access and large balconies / skyways, which is great for viewing.

Would typically have a good selection of food, such as fast food, sandwiches and noodles, but unfortunately half were closed when visited, also take note they food are location at various locations across the park, so don’t just go to the places at the main entrances, the fast food, there are others around the park. Food of course quite expensive, but typically for in park food, but a tip, the Coca-Cola is cheaper in the vending machines compared to food vendors.
