We visited this place for the 3rd time in 3 years. Kids still love it. Dinosaur walk was good fun with educational facts written next to each one. Great place to take photos. Zoo was also amazing, everything close by so don’t need to walk a lot to get from one place to another. Good variety of animals and managed to see most with good views. Dinosaur meet and greet, jungle dance shows, and the children’s soft play area were a great addition. They even have a dedicated multi faith prayer room which was very convenient.

So impressed! The dinosaurs and Jurassic Park theme is so well done my 3yr old grandson was absolutely in awe! The zoo is equally well set out, clean, clear signage, plenty of refreshments all around the park. Lovely safe play parks for the little ones and ample seating for picnics. Thoroughly recommended.

It was really fun, entertaining and interactive which my son loved (he's just under 2). There was however a lack of animals compared to other zoos as theres more activities for the kids. I didnt know there was a beach area for kids to swim, otherwise I would have brought his swimsuit but he had fun otherwise.

Great place for a day out with family. Wish it could be bigger but still a great size zoo. Food and drink pricey but expected. Will definitely visit again 👍

I was so impressed and will be visiting again! We live near and visit Colchester Zoo frequently and love it, but my son loves One Zoo Three so as a half term treat we visited. I now wish we lived closer to here! It’s got everything - zoo animals, great play parks, a pool, soft play, train and insanely excellent dinosaurs. It exceeded my expectations. Meeting Cal, Aaron and Tyler made my sons day - they were excellent with all the many many many children! And the food was good quality. Park clean and easy to navigate - no too large for little legs. Can’t wait to come back!

Great place, as per the other reviews, the place is just getting better and better. You can see they listen to feedback in the reviews and are investing in the future of the park.
I went for my God Daughters birthday, we were a party of three adults and two young children. However, I wouldn't hesitate to go with the children alone, it was a safe environment where children can be in eye range without worrying about their safety. As others said lots of windows for young children to see animals through without having to be picked up. The children really got the full experience.
The staff seem genuinely happy in their jobs. I even chatted with one of them about how much I was enjoying and they said how much work goes into the place, the amount of changes made over the last few years.

A couple of things I noted...
The train ride, it wasn't operated on time, which left children hanging around in the heat, despite arriving on time the driver of the train had his head down while the train was in motion) if this was in a car, I would be questioning if this was due to texting? I could be wrong, and I know it's a slow train but it concerns me? I don't think it should be charged for.
The soft play was boiling, it was a warm day and despite the soft play being empty, we boiled. I noticed the heaters hanging from the roof were on fully and this caused one of the children there to get overheated, cough and then vomit. The soft play is well laid out for parents to sit on sofas and let the children enjoy. If you do intend to follow your child through, Be aware you need to move like a hamster... very small gaps.
I would 100% return, avoiding the soft play, lots of outdoor play areas to explore. I might chance a picnic next time in one of the many areas provided for picnics, but if you fancy a treat, the food outlets have lots of choices!

Took my 6 year old daughter out for the day to explore the zoo and have some fun. There are many children’s play areas set up , a indoor play area and a beautiful little lagoon style pool outside.

We come here often and always enjoy the day here it’s brilliant and the dinosaur area is amazing

Would give 4.5 stars if there was an option. Reason for not giving 5 is we didn't see a fair few of the animals and it was lacking enough baby change facilities. We also couldn't access the wolf wood as the disabled access was closed (no staff member to unlock this)

We took our own lunch and enjoyed in a nice picnic area. Had ice cream which was lovely!

The dinosaur area we were particularly impressed with! Much better than the dinosaur features at other wildlife parks we've been to.

Overall it's great for younger children (under 10), there's several play areas, mini golf and a kids 'beach' section. Would go again if in the area 😊

What a fantastic zoo - possibly one of the best I've ever been to!

Home of the CBBC Show "One Zoo Three", there is lots to see and do there - and it's great to see the animals they talk about on the show. Also Blue Peter Badge holders get in free!

The zoo is split into 2 areas - the main zoo and the dinosaur/play areas.

Firstly, the zoo area has lots of great animals to see with big enclosures and great viewing areas for each one from different angles, with some having raised platforms to view from above.

There is also a fantastic bird flying arena, where they showcase a few of the birds they have.

Keepers are really friendly and approachable too, with great knowledge on the animals and happy to answer any questions.

The dinosaur part has a great walkthrough area with lots of dinosaurs to see, including interesting information plaques about each one. What was good and I've not seen before, is the Inclusion of the 'hybrid dinos' included in the jurassic world films.
It also had a fun little train ride and lots of good playgrounds to keep the kids entertained.

The overall ambience of the zoo is just fantastic - so neat, well thought out and just pretty in places. Quite a few places to take a picnic too and just enjoy the surroundings.

Overall, a fantastic full day out and would recommend a visit here in a heartbeat.

Visited Paradise Wildlife Park with my family on the Saturday over Easter. We arrived for 11am and were surprised that there was no queue for the car park. The check in was quick and efficient and we probably queued for no more than 10 minutes to gain access to the park.

Such a great day and the viewing platforms have been really cleverly designed so you can get really close to the animals. Fantastic selection of animals, including my personal favourite, the sun bear! And very educational for the children. Could easily spend the entire day there and plenty of places to stop and eat/picnic etc.

The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars, is because there was quite a lot of plastic foliage both around the park and in some of the amphibian enclosures, which seemed at odds with the conservation element in terms of sustainability. That's the only disappointing thing on an otherwise fantastic day out, so would definitely recommend it as a fun day out for all the family.
