This is the second time we have been to the Park as my daughter has done the Meerkhat and Lema experiences (which were both fab). I wished I had known about this zoo when our kids were young (particularly under 7's) as it has so much there to do apart from of course the Zoo itself there is a splash area, play zone, park, picnic areas etc. This is a lovely family run Zoo and what I liked about it is that you could get really close to seeing the animals. The staff are all really enthusiastic too.

Please note that there is now a £3 charge for the car park. I believe due to health and safety madness they have been made to put in a very expensive tarmacked car park and they need to recoup this money some how. At the end of the day we need to ensure that the profits go as much as possible to the keep of the animals which I believe this zoo is doing.

Had an amazing experiance at the Zoo today. I had booked a private Experiance to meet the Lemurs for my Disabled Nephews Birthday Present,
We was met at the Discovery Centre by Sophia who was extremely helpful and went through the experiance Procedure with us, then we was taken to the Enclosure by Hannah the Keeper. We had 30 mins in the enclosure feeding the Lemurs and what an amazing experiance, made all the better by Hannah who was extremely knowlegable and Knew these Primates like they were her own. (now i know what its like to be an Animal in the Zoo with everyone peering through the glass ☺)
We Spent the rest of the day walking round the zoo and had a great day as we managed to see everyone of the animals. The Cafes are reasonibly priced and the food is good. Any staff we spoke to were very polite and i would recommend a day out here. The park is flat so very disabled friendly and there are even ramps up to most of the raised viewing platforms. I have been here 3 times now with my daughter and also her cousin and thy love love it. My daughter is 3 and nephew is 4.

There is a wide range of things to do Inc soft play splash park and outdoor play.

The animals are lovely altho the enclosures are quite small esp for the lions and birds.

Car park is £3 all day which is not too bad.

The park has its plus sides and also its downsides. I tend to prefer to write a review by looking at the downsides followed by the positives so if you do not read to the end please by no means think that there are only negatives to visiting this attraction.

On arrival, I was dissapointed to discover that you had to pay £3 to park in the carpark. This was dissapointing as the only real way to get to the country based site is by car. I would prefer to pay a little more for entry to cover parking costs as parking is an essential part of the visit. Cost wise little is included in the entry fee. There is plenty to do in the park but each activity costs a few pounds here and there, the only thing a ticket really entitles you to is to look at the animals. On that basis despite the lower cost than some other animal parks or zoos, it offers less value for money in my opinion.

In terms of animals, there are most of the animals you would expect in a zoo except elephants and Giraffes, however there are fibre glass models of giraffes, elephants and a gorilla which provides a great photo opportunity.

It is the zoo's collection of Big Cats which stand out above other animal parks with, Tigers, white tigers, lions, cheetahs, snow leopards and a Jaguar. This makes the Big Cats this zoo's forte in my opinion.

Another good feature to the park is the picnic area which is only just inside the park near the car park, meaning that you can pop back to the car easily to grab your picnic gear.

All in all a nice day but did not see much that stood out enough to warrant a return visit.

I visited paradise wild when I stayed at the marriott hotel. I was surprised at how well the animals looked and they were not in small spaces like other zoo s I have been to. The snacks ain't that bad and the lay out of the zoo is great there wasn't an animal or reptile I we didn't see. We had a great afternoon and will defo give it another visit

Excellent day. Very knowledgeable staff and a good breakfast in the glass fronted cafe looking over the Tiger enclosure.

Not keen on animals kept in captivity but believe they do a lot of good breeding programmes animals hopefully release some into the wild animals looked quite relaxed and well cared for good variety of animals for children to walk around and see. Paddling pool area for hot days.train for ride round park.Soft play provided sandwiches and ice cream crisps drinks teas and coffees for parents.

We visited the wildlife park as a spur of moment day out. Reading mixed reviews I was pleasantly surprised. Car park £3 was well organised with plenty of spaces. We were provided with map but everything was easy to find. The animals seemed happy & well cared for, some of the cages seemed a bit small & areas were old & tatty, but it was nice to see brand new buildings being built for the Penguins due to open soon. There was plenty to do with a mini train ride & tractor ride & a show to watch on the main stage. Dissapointingly we missed some of the animal shows as the times printed on the leaflet were different from the actual times of the shows. Plenty to do for the 5 year old with us, including outdoor & indoor play, also outdoor lagoon with slide (sadly I didn't think the weather was going to be sunny so didn't take swim stuff). Also surprised that tucked away in corner was the speedway museum - bit random but worth popping in to see trophy so & bikes etc. Overall good value for money.

Shadowing the big cat keeper for the day.words cannot express how truly amazing it was.We arrived to be welcomed by a kind receptionist. "Steve" who is the keeper was friendly he had so much wonderful knowledge to share with us.It was lovely to see the love trust and companionship both he and the big cats shared,bringing us and including us ,into their world so we could feel part or their relationship. Being able to get up close to the big cats. Even cleaning out the caged was brilliant .It was a wonderful experience to get up close to the beautiful big cats.Preparing the food and hand feeding the cats was an experience , you are not able to get on Safari.Steve taught us how to hand feed, the big cats are so gentle when you feed them.Truly an amazing day. Thank you Steve for your kindness and an amazing day. It will be a lifetime memory.

well, we arrived extremely early in the morning and the staff kindly allowed us to sit in the kids adventure play ground and have use of the toliets.

They even were going to open up the cafe abit earlier for us so that we could have refreshments.

It was a great day with amazing cats and wolves around. Our guide was awesome and so passionate about everything. The animals look happy and they have a very good life. Amazing park and they do some good work for animals too.

Good visit to park, location excellent and enjoyable day for the family.

Plenty of seating dotted around the park and excellent activities for young children.

The only downside is despite paying entrance fee, most things required an additional cost. The Penguins could not be seen due to refurb.

Overall a good, fun and enjoyable day.

Took a 2 year old and she loved it. It was a shame the weather wasn't better, but that's not the parks fault. The food is not that good

Was ok breakfast was ok the cat talk was good he knows his cat and were they come from and wot they eat but after there was not much to do ......yes great for kids as they can run around. But for us there was not much even gift shop was not much...but ok

Park is easy to get round and well laid out.The higher walkways are a great way to see the animals. Reasonably well maintained.

Firstly great zoo, esp when you can walk on ramps around the enclosures to get a better look at the animals.
The playground ride are mostly aimed for young kids, under 10yrs so if you have a teens they will have very little to ride. theres a small splash area, again for little kids.

It is also a slightly smaller zoo in size and esp when you consider the overall cost for 2 adults and 2 kids was over £60 so seems a bit more expensive.

This has got to be one of my favourite places. It has everything you need in one space. It's the kind of place you can go in summer or a mild winters day and still enjoy every part of it. Unlike most zoos once you enter most things are free. There is loads of things to do. Inside play if it's wet. A park and nature trail can be enjoyed by all the family. If you live in London I recommend the annual pass. I have 15 grandchildren and had passes for most of them. This enabled me to take at least 7 of them on my own and know they would not only be safe but enjoy every second. They even do decent coffee. The manager in the coffee shop is amazing

A wonderful wildlife park that has the welfare of the animals at its heart. Many families and school children enjoying the attractions which enhanced the visit. I will definitely be bringing my own family.

Paradise Park has evolved a lot over last five years. Good collection of animals specially canines from all over the world.
If going with young children should go early parts of the morning as there is less crowd. Value for money..

I went with grandchildren 10 and 8 years old. Plenty to do and they thoroughly enjoyed the day. Animals look well cared for and you can get up close to view them properly. Plenty of other activities for children i.e. softplay, playground etc. Cafes and picnic areas. Take plenty of £1 coins for extra activities and well worth it!

Only gripe is having to pay for car parking but I soon got over it.

What an amazing day!!

Bought big cat feeding for my partners 21st birthday present and it completely exceeded our expectations.

We started our day with lunch in the tiger tree tops cafe. Slightly over priced but was nice enough food, good selection and lovely to sit and eat whilst watching the tigers lounge about. Staff were friendly enough.

After lunch we had a quick walk round and went across to the discovery centre ready for big cat lunch time.

We were expecting to be taken through, feed a cat then left too it. We couldn't have been more wrong.

We were welcomed into the discovery centre by a very friendly lady (sorry can't remember her name) and sat down. She returned very quickly and put a dvd on for us explaining the history of the park and offered a drink ( good selection) and even given a plate of biscuits!
The lady came back over again for a chat, very friendly but she was clearly aware this was our day and didn't want to stay too long, she left us again to fill out necessary forms and then introduced us to our zoo keeper who whisked us off to feed the cats.

I think the zoo keepers name was Shirley or Sharon, ( I will call her S) she was amazing!
So passionate, so friendly and immediately put us at ease. Obviously we were counting fingers before she came!

S was so knowledgeable about he park and its history, and clearly lived and breathed her work. We were taken on a tour of the behind the scenes areas; the animal kitchen, the meat fridge (an eye opener) and the meat prep room. In the prep room the procedure was explained and we were made to feel 110% comfortable and confident before continuing.

My partner was then given the meat to carry and we were taken to the white tiger. I want to make it clear at this point we weren't hurried along at all, we thoroughly enjoyed every single part of the experience, S genuinely wanted to make it an experience to remember and wanted to make my partner feel like he was doing now every part of the process, she was really lovely.

The experience was bought for my partner only but I was still allowed to go into the enclosure to take pictures, and S kept checking with me to make sure I was getting photos for him and really made me feel included in the experience.

The feeding was incredible! S explained about the breed, how they live in the wild, how they eat, the Tigers temperament, his personality it really was fantastic. TIP: don't wear white, you will get tiger dribble on you! :) which is gross and amazing at the same time!

After the feeding had finished S couldn't thank me enough for buying the experience, she explained how the money from these experiences help the animals, the park and the projects they have around the world. It made it even more worth while.

We were given a tee shirt and a certificate, which was lovely and S gave us tips on what to see next and when other cats were being fed.

I can't thank paradise wildlife park enough for such a fantastic day! It's been almost a week since we visited and my partner is still telling everyone he sees about his tiger feeding! He is still smiling ear to ear!
Coming from a very customer service driven background I honestly believe it was the staff who made the day so special so a HUGE thank you!!

My husband and I visited here today. Nice range of animals just very confusing when walking around as no set route to follow. Sadly some of the enclosures were closed for refurbishment. Very disappointed with £3 car parking charge as most zoos are free parking. Although the lions and tigers were very close up and the high bridge lookouts were great for getting a closer look. Park was very clean and tidy. Toilets were clean. Loads for children to do.
