My class thoroughly enjoyed their trip today. They were amazed by the range of animals they saw. They especially enjoyed seeing the lions up so close. The lions were playing with each other and the male lion roared they loved this. The zoo keepers explained about the ferrets and lizards and snakes which was very interesting and perfectly explained for the age range. It was great that they saw the animals up so close and just for our class. They loved the play areas and we all had a fantastic day. The children learned so much. I will definitely be taking my new class next year.
Thank you to all the staff.

I visit regularly with family, this place is awesome, so much to do and see, lots of different food options, parks and soft play! So many animals and also a lagoon pool that the kids love! Prices are reasonable for what you get and have the option to do, also give the crazy gold a go, it's so much fun!

Me and fiancée visted this park yesterday (19th june) we travelled down 3 hours for an experience of hand feeding the white lions. When we arrived early at the park we had plenty of time to stroll around and enjoy all the sights an animals. The park is well layed out with plenty of seating and also plenty of activites for kids. The range of animals on display is amazing varying from snow lepards to alligators.
When it was time for our experience we went the discovery centre where we were greeted by a lovely memeber of staff. She offered us drinksnand gave us a platenof biscuits and asked us what size t-shirts we would like as a momento.
After 10 minutes tony our leader on the experience came to meet us. He was courteous and pleasant and made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. Hebgabe us a tour of behind the scenes of the park and the usual safety briefing. Once that was all done he guided us to an area of the lion enclosure where they were only a fence away.
Feeding the lions was absolutly amazing. Best expeience of my life so far. Feeling their tongue on your hand and breathe was brilliant.
Inwant to thank all the staff for making it such an amazing day.
Especially tony who was brilliant and made the experience more memorable for us both.
Would definatly recommend to anybody

Visited on Sunday 19th June. Although it was a Sunday and there were many people in the park we never felt crushed or crowded by people. All of the enclosures were well kept and had raised viewing areas which I have personally never seen before at a zoo and they made for perfect viewing of the stunning animals, even when they were hiding!
I had purchased the feed the white lions experience for my fiancé for Christmas and this was the purpose of the visit, however admission to the zoo for the full day came included which for the price I was extremely impressed!
The feeding experience was amazing, we were met with tea or coffee and biscuits on arrival and then our keeper Tony came to collect us. He took us on a 'behind the scenes' tour of the animals food prep area ect. Tony was absolutely amazing with us and went through our safety procedures and how to feed the lions properly slowly to ensure we were comfortable. We then made our way to the enclosure whilst learning many facts I never even thought about!
Once we entered the first fence and was faced with the lion at the mesh fence I was a bit taken back by their actual size but Tony was there to make sure we were doing it correctly and safely! And as soon as we were in there we both felt comfortable around them! We also drew quite a crowd of spectators!
Overall an amazing day and a life changing experience. It is truly lovely to see just how much the keepers actually care about their animals!

Visited today. And I have to say. It ticked all the boxes for a great day out for the kids. Ages 3 8 and 12. There are plenty of play things which they loved as well as a nice paddling pool. A miniature train ( extra which I think is wrong!!) The animals all looked happy and there is a good variety to see. A bit of work going on to improve things which whilst inconvenient. In my book shows that the place cares and is always looking to spend money on bettering the animals and human interaction.
Food I think is over priced and of average quality.( usually take picnics on days out but forgotten time) so won't rush to eat out there next time. But will definitely go back as the kids really enjoyed themselves.

We took my grandson here in May 2016. It's been a few years since I have been there and the changes are noticeable and good. It was a nice sunny day, which does make a difference. The owners are still improving the park and it is much better than last time, although some areas were still ongoing. The animals looked happy and well cared for. The food was pretty good in the eatery. Many more slides etc for the children with fire engine etc to climb on. There is also a large paddling pool area too. Lovely raised flower beds around brightened the place up. Enjoyable trip out. We will be going again.

We had the afternoon tea with Tigers. Very poor afternoon tea. its not an intimate tea for two, its a free for all and greedy people took far more than their fair share, leaving nothing for others. You have to help yourself to drinks, so its pretty poor. Don't bother with this and just have the tour with the keepers, that was great.

This was our first time visit to Paradise Wildlife Park. It's a lot smaller than expected and it does look like they are trying to expand the park and enclosures.

We had a pleasant time there, staff were helpful and friendly. You do get to see a lot, this is a sister conservation park to Wildlife Heritage Foundation in Smarden, Kent.

The animals generally looks relaxed, although I think they do get stressed when children on school trips are yelling or running around.

It's worth a visit but it is a small park, so take your time to walk around it. Furthermore there are enough entertainment areas for those with young children.

The food served could be much improved than what they have not. There is a free cash withdrawal machine inside the park.

They don't accept AMEX cards but everything else should be ok.

Booked two experiences at the Park - Meet the Meerkats and Breakfast with the Big Cats, We arrived at the park at 11.30am - collected our VIP wrist bands and proceeded to wander around the grounds. We were staying at the park in one of their apartments and so we had access to the grounds until 6pm. It was quite busy with packs of children all of them were very well behaved, and it was lovely to see their expressions when they saw the different animals. The animals were all in good condition and their pens were spacious. The staff were very knowledgeable in fact there was nothing I could criticize.

Enjoyed a wonderful day at the Paradise Wildlife Park, starting off with a Red Panda Experience.

After signing a Health & Safety disclaimer, we commenced our experience being taken into the kitchens to see the animal food being prepared. Picking up some pots of diced pear and fresh bamboo we then headed over to the red panda enclosure.

Upon our arrival, Teajmunn, the male red panda, wandered up to his feeding post where we hand fed him his pear. A wonderfully gentle creature. Tilly, the female, opted to stay at the top of the tree so we didn't get an opportunity to meet her. Connor and Sam, our zoo keeper hosts, were knowledgable about the red pandas and kindly took some photos for us of our time in the enclosure.

Half an hour or so later, we left the red pandas and spent the day wandering around watching the big cats, zebras, monkeys and their other animal attractions.

A great day out, and a big thank you to Connor and Sam for helping to make it a wonderful day.

Had a great day out despite rainy and fairly cold weather.
We got for the experience of Feeding Meerkats and enjoyed not just that but the whole park.
It’s absolutely astonishing that people can run such huge place with so many animals just from donations and money people spend in the park and it’s outrageous that government not just doesn’t support them but also taxes them.

As for the park itself, there’s quite a big “playground” for kids right at the entrance so most children that actually get pass this to the park itself don’t have enough energy to be too loud or nosy to disturb the animals.
All the animals in the park are saved from various places and sometimes horrible mistreatment so it’s nice to see they have a comfortable asylum here.
All the carers we met were very friendly and fond of their “nurse-animals”; they were well educated and answered all our questions. The enclosures were all clean and despite them being sometimes a bit small the animals had all they needed in them, the carers even tried to emulate the environment each animal lives in.
None of the animals looked stressed, as a matter of fact all we could see was either a lazy relax (despite all the visitors around) or a healthy curiousness. I loved that you can buy bits of carrots and parsnips around the park to feed some of the animals which was making the day more interesting for both the inhabitants and the people visiting them.

The Meet the Meerkats experience was fabulous! We were taken to a private enclosure where meerkats can hide when they don’t want to be bothered by people. The carers first gave us all the information we needed to enter and then we just got a bowl of meerkats’ favourite treats each and off we went.
We were inside for more than half hour, the whole time being observed, “investigated” and cuddled by the meerkats – first they focused on the bowls and once these were empty they took interest in us looking for a warm place to snuggle in.
The carer was taking pictures on our phones the whole time and he was also telling us about them – he knew all their names and personalities, was telling us interesting things about the species to educate us as well as funny stories about this particular group. He genuinely cared for them and that just made the experience even better.
All the meerkats were healthily curious and active, very nosy and brave – they were clearly not stressed by the presence of “strangers”, on the contrary – it felt like it’s a nice variegation of their daily programme.
All in all, we really enjoyed the day and were happy we can contribute at least a little bit to the money pot the park needs to take care of all the animals. We’re looking forward to come again!

I love this place, staff are always friendly and accommodating. Worth the money much better value, never cramped, lots of room for you all to see the animals. Big area for little kids to play. Great talks and feeding times. Staff know their animals. Looking forward to renewing my membership.

We went here for the day and although some of the negative comments did concern us a bit we always like to make our own minds up. The day we visited was during the week and was not during the school holiday so it was quiet. The Park is not huge which is good as you can get around to see everything without having to walk miles. There are play areas for younger children and yes they are at the start of the park after entrance but what is nice is that as soon as you walk over h very sensible safe crossing point you are in the Wildlife Park. The animals are well carried for and all are out of there sleeping quarters which are clean. There are accessible walk ways that give you a great view of the wild cats. Lots of talks and the keeper who appeared to do most of the talks was very informative and knew his stuff as well as being very passionate about what he does. It was a pity that the Penguins were not on show as the enclosure was being modernized and if the pictures of the new enclose are anything to go by we will be back to see it. We spent a good 4 hours leisurely walking around.

We had a excellent day out here yesterday, it was for my daughters 9th birthday, I had previously looked online and found a 20% off voucher which brought the price down to £48. I think the £48 is a reasonable price for this zoo, originally would have been £60 which is £6 less than London zoo of you pre book. I think £60 is a bit high but was very happy paying £48 for the day we had. the animals were great, lovely variety to see and definitely well looked after, the penguins are currently no there as their home is being refurbished so will return to see them as they were what my son really wanted to see. everywhere was clean and tidy although lots of signs for washing hands after handling animals but not many sinks to be seen but if you looked could find sanitiser gel to use. I was impressed that the feed bags where vegetable chunks a nice change to pellets and some places. The park side is a lovely size with lots of choice for the children, we got there early so wasn't to busy with the children which id definitely recommend doing. My youngest loved the train ride and the giant sand pit and Lego blocks. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and will return in the future

This an ideal zoo for those with young children. There are not only animals on view: several large playgrounds with large and colourful equipment, it was heaving with children when we went and they have the usual food outlets but I think you could take a picnic, there are tables with seating and the usual facilities.

The animals are easily viewed - we saw a snow leopard with its lovely thick tail, a white tiger (extremely majestic), many monkeys, lemurs, birds, reptiles and larger mammals. The experience which stands out in my mind is the interaction between the wolf and its handler. Make sure you don't miss it (I don't want to spoil it for you): it may change the way you regard wolves! There is a good mix of large and small animals, a crocodile and an interesting talk on British wildlife by a very expert presenter - she injected enormous enthusiasm into the talk - at the end we had a close-up view of a python, tortoise and a hissing beetle.

We have been here 3 times this year, we love it. Just this weekend gone I purchased 1 item and used contactless to pay for it. The lady gave me my transaction receipt. I only realised that they charged me twice for the same item the next day when I checked my internet banking. Money had already been taken out of my direct debit. The bank advised me to speak with them first before opening up a dispute. When I called they seemed to know that this was happening. No refund was suggested. Sounds fishy to me. Had to go through the bank which took a lot of time just to get my money back. Watch your payment method I would not advice anyone to use their contactless there. Happened to me the 1st time and I use the card a lot.

Had Breakfast with the Big Cats given as a present by my wife. Absolutely recommend it if you like big cats. You get really close to them too especially in the Treetops Cafe as you look across the tiger enclosure. Great guided tour which lasted over an hour of the BIg Cat Territory. Very informative. Nice staff & great animals

I have been visiting this park since I was a kid, my last visit was when I was around 9/10, I am now 20. I treated my mum as a day out for her birthday with the rest of the family and my boyfriend. I have always loved paradise park and all the animals in it (the red pandas are my favourite) The food is very expensive, £5.60 for a kids meal (which wasn't all that) so take your own food. There are stinging nettles everywhere! I managed to get stung a few times.
We got the train from London to Broxbourne so we had to use the Paradise Park cab service which was great, they pick you up anytime and return you back to the station at anytime just for £3 return each (adult) and the driver was very nice and friendly, all the staff were!
I would return here, most certainly, I will just be more careful around the nettles next time!

I recently visited Paradise Wildlife Park with my boyfriend and we had a fantastic day. The animals are so much closer to you than other zoos that I have visited. The animals all looked healthy and all the staff that we spoke to were very friendly. Can't wait for our next visit!!
