The dinosaur section as you enter was pretty amazing and unexpected, there was a large selection of different animals which all looked really well cared for. The food prices were reasonable and loads to do for little kids. The park is big enough to keep everyone interested and you could easily see and do everything in a day there!

My daughter loves visiting as we love close by and have a monthly membership. The winter months are good as the park tends to be much quieter and the animals hide away less. Probably best to bring a picnic as the restaurant can be a little experience. There is tons for the kids to do

Brilliant place to visit and plenty to do whatever the weather is up to. With two small kids they were thoroughly entertained all day. Particularly, the new dinosaur attraction was a great hit with a 2yr old. Tickets are quite expensive but you do get a lot on offer for your money.

Facilities are good and the new Dinosaur section is excellent. It is expensive however with children tickets costing almost as much as adults. Some animal enclosures seem small.

We visited in the Easter Holidays and it was 1/2 empty (which is not a great advertisement). The new Dinosaur part is very good and must have cost a fortune BUT to the detriment of the rest of the park which was a bit run down to say the least. The paths were uneven (esp for a wheelchair), the glass on the Gibbon enclosure had so much old dry mess down the glass you could hardly see in, the parrots & other birds had a thick mesh over the bars so you couldn't see in (much to the disappointment of our little one). TAKE A PICNIC or DISINFECTANT WIPES as the food is expensive/poor quality & the café over looking the tiger compound was so filthy we wiped our feet on leaving !!! The kids enjoyed the dinosaur train -extra £2 per person- and the girl taking the money was very friendly, about the only member of staff who was - I think they were all as unhappy as many of the animals!

What a great experience thank you.The weather may have been damp and gloomy but the staff certainly weren't. We were greeted by a smiling receptionist (sorry didn't get name)who looked after us well until our tour began. The very knowledgeable and friendly Hannah then took us round explaining the various traits of the big cats as we went round. We then fed the snow leopards which was an absolutely enjoyable experience (in the wife's good books for at least another week). The breakfast then followed with more than enough food, overlooking the tigers.Thank you once again.

Not been for few years. Came with 6 yr old grandson for an easter treat. Noticed lots of changes. Was very busy but was school holiday and the sun was shining! The dinosaur exhibition was great. Lots of lifesize dinosaurs, all animated and noisy! Very realistic and included in entry fee which surprised me! Thought was very good! However look out ...you may get wet! Cross over to the animal park where you can see lions, tigers, camels, meerkats, penguins, lots of other animals including farm animals and birds. Lots to see and do. There are shows and talks throughout the day and obviously feeding times. There are places to buy food although on busy days there are likely to be queues for food and the indoor food place was packed with no spare tables or chairs. There are stalls dotted around selling ice creams and hot dogs and a small cafe near where the lions are though this was also full when we were there. There are some tables outside by the play park so a picnic might be a good idea! Theres loads for kids to do. Paddling pool for summer months too! All in all a good day out and not too expensive considering what there is to see and do. Quite compact compared to some places and i think the restaurant could be made bigger and modernised. Parking is easy on site or in car park across the road.

We visited here during the Easter holidays and my 3yr old absolutely loved the new world of dinosaurs area of the park. It’s a must for any dinosaur loving children. The other animals were also a hit, from the marmosets and red pandas to the big cats. Lots to see here and the park is nicely sized (not too big). Plenty of play areas for the kids to let off even more energy as well. A large number of picnic benches are also dotted around the park. We will be back!!

After seeing the adverts for the new dinosaur park on Facebook we decided to treat our dinosaur mad 5 year old twins to a day out and we’re so glad we did.
I must admit I had never heard of the park until I saw it on Facebook and after reading the reviews we booked up to visit the next week!
First of all I was impressed how well sign posted the park was and how easy it was to get there!
As we entered the park the world of dinosaurs entrance was right in front of us. The twins ran straight in and raced to the first dinosaur. The dinosaurs were amazing, very realistic and every one of them moved, even blinking and breathing.
We were that impressed we went round that part of the park twice.
Later on that day the twins met the baby dinosaurs which were supervised by friendly staff.
The rest of the park was also very good. Plenty of play areas and places to eat. We took a picnic but the food smelt lovely and wasn’t overpriced.
The animals in the zoo area all seemed very happy and there was lots of information on them.

We usually bypass a gift shop but we visited the Dino-store as we had promised the twins a souvenir. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety and the prices. All seemed very fair. We don’t usually buy stuff from gift shops but we bought several items.
Overall a fantastic day and we have already recommended it to several friends.
