It was a cold rainy day. But I enjoyed it

Today we visited the park as a day out for our Granddaughter, I didn't expect much from the park as the time of the year dictates how the animals are located
On that subject I have no problems
The main restaurant however !!
I do not like being ripped off,we ordered a steak gourmet burger with bacon and cheese £9.10 each, they are appalling !!
Cheap poor quality microwave burgers, how anyone can call them a gourmet burger is beyond me!!
When I saw it,I told the young man serving that I wanted to swap it for a jacket potato with tuna,he wasn't happy but did it
He then said I couldn't have a refund as a jacket potato meal is over £2 less
I just told him do you really want me to make a scene
Got my refund though
So my advice is eat before you visit or after
No different in the smaller cafe with the kiddy play area
£3 for a paradise cake that says hand made but looks like it had come from Brookers or Costco
4 coffees 4 cakes £24 !!!!!!!
We spent about the same on sub standard food, as we did on the entrance fee
Not impressed at all

All the animals seem to be well looked after and in clean and pleasant surroundings. The overhead walk ways were really helpful to see the big cats. I have been on safari in Africa and not got as close as you can get to some of the animals at this park. I thoroughly recommend a visit.

A lovely day out with the kids, lots to do and plenty of play areas and animals. Very spacious and clean. Book online tickets cheaper and parking is easy and free. Places to eat but wish we brought a packed lunch. Love the short little train .. gives us a little rest.

This wildlife park enables a very close up experience with some beautiful well cared for animals. The children were amazed to get so close to magnificent Big Cats and especially enjoyed watching two young leopards play-fighting! It is very clean and the animals all look healthy and happy in large enclosures.

This little zoo is improving all the time, and although it is obviously aiming at being popular with the very young, it has more than enough to appeal for all ages. We went there for a 'feed a big cat experience'. This was excellent, and the keeper who showed us around and went through the feeding routine with us, (Hannah), was very knowledgeable and friendly and made the experience an absolute joy. There are several places in the zoo to eat and drink, a free car park, souvenir shops and of course, plenty of animals to look at. All of these are in lovely condition and a joy to see. There are also lots of things for young children to enjoy, as well as a discovery and education centre, and a new dinosaur exhibit was being built when we went. I think the zoo is good value, and the work it contributes to worldwide has to be applauded. For that reason alone I would recommend you visit it, but I also think you will enjoy a good few hours out.

We visited paradise for a New Year’s Day treat and we had also booked the meet and feed the red panda experience. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised at the facilities available for food and drink despite it being winter time. We arrived at the discovery centre to be greeted by Toni who was very polite and professional and made us laugh! The complimentary drink and biscuits were amazing! We then were escorted by Matt to the red panda enclosure in order to feed them. The experience itself was incredible and definitely worth every penny! Matt was incredibly knowledgable and informative, and also made us laugh! Tilly the red panda was so sweet and gentle!

There is an amazing range of animals at the park and it’s a really good day out for everyone! The big cats are fun to watch and the animal and bird shows were also really entertaining!

All in all it was a brilliant day out and we will definitely be returning to Paradise, it doesn’t matter what time of the year you visit, you’re sure of a great day out!

We visited (as a family group of 4 adults and 3 kids) as a birthday treat for my daughter and we had a really good day. As a smaller park, the additional play areas helps stop the little ones getting bored, but with quite a few animals not being out, the kids became more interested in the play areas than the wildlife.

The only negatives for the park would be that the shows could have been better advertised we "stumbled" across a couple of the shows (which were good), the food prices were quite high - £8 for a burger and you guys really need to change the coffee; had 3 cups, from the different outlets and they were all awful.

Saw a few FB comments moaning about the entry price;, I'd say that was pretty reasonable. We got a discount for booking online and had 10% off code, so was about £15 each.

We would go again, but would take a picnic next time.
