Really good, loved the drummers on entrance. The coffee was really poor though, wouldn’t recommend, and if you have a screaming child then you can get round it very quickly!

We had a experience with a sloth today.
It was amazing to feed her. Shona the keeper was very knowledgeable and caring. Would definitely visit again.

Fantastic place! Great setup, you can see the animals through the glass either from the top platform or from the bottom. The animals have a lot of space to roam around. My favourites are the white lions.

Good layout of the large cat enclosures gives them space but in a way the visitors can see in from multiple vantage points.
Bring your own sarni unless you want a burger or pram free noodle bar.

This place was utterly magical!! With a 5 year old obsessed by One Zoo Three - and dinosaurs! It really couldn't have been a better day out.
We managed it all pretty comfortably in a day and the food was nice, despite only having one restaurant open (as it was not busy at all)
The Birds Show was excellent, and all the staff we came across were chatty, interested in my son, and very friendly.
It was a lovely Zoo, in itself, with clearly happy animals (the birds flew straight back in to their little holes in their enclosures and the otters were demented with scratchy excitement!!) All too cute! And lovely to see where the TV show is filmed for my son.

It is sooo worth a visit for kids of any age (playground, softplay, etc etc)

Thanks Hertfordshire Zoo! We will be back!

Visited for my daughters second birthday. She loved it, lots of walking but so many animals to see along the way so she was easily distracted! Would definitely return!

Buy tickets online to book your time slot and also save time queueing up.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Few places to eat but not many halal options.

Came for the day and met Ian Jones. He showed us around gave us a personal tour and the experience was amazing the knowledge of the park and the patients he had with us. This is definitely a place worth visiting. I would recommend this for everyone of all ages.

We’ve been before but not for a few years. Great place with loads for the kids apart from the animals. Clean tidy fairly priced. We will visit again

A terrific zoo, you can really tell that the staff care about the animals

There's a great range of animals to see and the enclosures all seem spacious and clean

They're constantly improving and upgrading the park and I can't wait to see where it goes

Update 12-10-24 : the park is as great as ever, and the keepers continue their wonderful level of care and expertise.

Excellent zoo and dinosaur park. We had a wonderful time here. The animal enclosures are very well designed to give you lots of opportunities to spot the animals, and there are walkways above the enclosures, too, for an even better view. The dinosaur section was much better than expected. Our son enjoyed spotting all of the different dinos from the little train and there were lots of photo opportunities as you walk around the dino trail. Really, the only downside is that the children's tickets are pretty expensive – only £2 less than an adult's ticket for a 2yo! Perhaps look out for offers if you have a big family.

My 8 year old really enjoys watch One Zoo Three so we decided to visit the zoo. Ignored the dinosaurs as they not Zoo animals but may see then next time.

The Zoo was really well laid out, lots of awesome animals. The walk through round the bears and big cats are brilliant and gives lots of opportunities to see the animals in excellent large enclosures. All the enclosure nicely laid out and animals seemed happy.

Loved the massive anaconda.

Watched both the bird shows and really pleased to see the Kookaburra come out. The burrowing owls weren't up for it as there were wild red kite circling.

Went into the new UK wildlife bit and was lucky to see a sand lizard, didn't spot the grass snake though.

Lovely weather so my son splashed in the water park area, didn't know that was there so had to improvise with clothes and towel, would be good if this had more mention on the website

Visited with my granddaughter aged 4. Plenty parking and average priced entry. She enjoyed the dinosaurs and dinosaur train (extra cost). An okay variety of animals, smaller than other zoos we've visited. Good Park and play beach other (closed out of season). Plenty rest areas and the usual overpriced ice creams etc. Could do with clearer signage when moving from dinosaur area to zoo and vice versa. A decent day out.

A fantastic experience at the Hertfordshire zoo. You get really up close to all the animals there and the staff are amazing. Simon B is a legend and is such a great zookeeper, he gave me and my family a great tour with Marian the Tortoise and shared all his knowledge about her and the other animals at the zoo. Go and visit you are in for a treat!

My boyfriend and I visited the zoo for the Wolf feeding experience. The experience was amazing! So lovely to be up close with the wolves and learn so much about them!

We then spent the rest of the morning walking around the zoo which was a lovely experience. Thanks so much!

Really good park.

The membership isn’t cheap but it’s definitely worth it, as you get discounts on food, a free ride on the Dino train, and can obviously attend as frequently as you please.

The food is really good, reasonably priced, and served relatively quickly.

Soft play is also good, large, and keeps the kids occupied.

Only downside is there needs to be more disabled parking spaces.

Other than that, it’s always a really good day out! I’d definitely recommend getting membership!
