It is an awesome day out for the kids as they get to do alot of activities in one visit. The kids can have a splash in the lagoon (weather permitting), play in the vast outdoor adventure play area as well as indoor play even before they get to see any animals and lets not forgot the highlight for my son, the dinosaur park. The play areas are so good that I have to drag them away so we can go see the wildlife.
We usually spend a minimum of 6 hours and they never want to go home.
As a mum of a child with autism, i get a discounted ticket so for 3 we always pay £24.60. I tend try and get a discount codes online as well to bring price to £24.60.
It is definitely good value and its best to bring a pack lunch to avoid buying food to make visit affordable.
It also helps that its only 20 mins drive from home.We will be back.

Family of four. Mum dad baby and toddler.
I'm on maternity leave so manager to go during the week out of school holidays and honestly this made it a lovely first time experience as it was empty so I could let my toddler run wild without worrying.
His favourite was of course the dinos.
Lovely old lady staff member was great with my son, very friendly.
So much to do and a nice change to your average 'zoo'

Paradise park is a little treasure nestled in the heart of Hertfordshire.
Its has everything for every member of the family.
The array of animals at paradise park is very impressive, if you love big cats this is definitely the place for you.
They have literally thought of everything here, theres splash pools for the kids, a large adventure playground, a dinosaur attraction and a steam train and thats even before you take into the zoo, its extremely well priced so very affordable, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the varity really is amazing here, all of the animals are happy and the enclosures are very clean, there are many talks throughout the day and the keepers are very open to questions, the white lion enclosure was the highlight of the day for my family and it really is something special.
We got to talk one on one with the orginal keeper who is just finishing writing a book about hand rearing one of the
lions.
A fantastic day out.

We love Paradise Wildlife Park. As well as all the animals there is an amazing dinosaur trail with animatronic dinosaurs, a narrow guage railway (although this has an additional charge), play areas for the kids, an indoor soft play and a paddling pool with fountains. They have recently built a new enclosure for the lions which offers excellent views. My kids love the dinosaurs more than the animals! There are gift shops and plenty of places to eat that are a very reasonable price for the type of attraction. It is always a good day out and getting round everything will probably take more than one visit.

I was saddened to see the new Lion enclosure did not even have any grass in it, so nothing like the plains of Africa, I don’t recall a tree for shade but I may be wrong. The Zebra enclosure was small & no grass. It felt more of a children’s attraction & play park. I am sure the animals are well looked after but they need more space & territory more like home. I went to Chessington years ago & that was worse. I came away sad, which is a shame.

We where a little disappointed as it never had a lot of animals there , but we did get to see all the big cats which for £40 was a bit expensive , ( lions , snow leopard, cheetah, tigers , jaguar ) part from that it's 100% for kids and not for couples without.
It's enclosures was impressive and do give you a real feel of been inside with the cats . It's our 4th on our zoo trek adventure and Yorkshire wildlife park is still the favourite , I do wish we had traveled that extra few miles to London zoo ( which was considered after leaving 1 hour after arriving at pwp....but it was going to be an extra £50 plus approximately £12 for parking then the congestion charge 🤔. We traveled 4 hours home instead but if you want a place to stay that's 9 miles from the park choose best western Welwyn city homestead .

Had a very lovely day here - enjoyed both the animals and the dinosaur walk! My only moan would be the food - massive queues and fairly massive prices - £3.20 for a coke being an example!
