I was saddened to see the new Lion enclosure did not even have any grass in it, so nothing like the plains of Africa, I don’t recall a tree for shade but I may be wrong. The Zebra enclosure was small & no grass. It felt more of a children’s attraction & play park. I am sure the animals are well looked after but they need more space & territory more like home. I went to Chessington years ago & that was worse. I came away sad, which is a shame.

We where a little disappointed as it never had a lot of animals there , but we did get to see all the big cats which for £40 was a bit expensive , ( lions , snow leopard, cheetah, tigers , jaguar ) part from that it's 100% for kids and not for couples without.
It's enclosures was impressive and do give you a real feel of been inside with the cats . It's our 4th on our zoo trek adventure and Yorkshire wildlife park is still the favourite , I do wish we had traveled that extra few miles to London zoo ( which was considered after leaving 1 hour after arriving at pwp....but it was going to be an extra £50 plus approximately £12 for parking then the congestion charge 🤔. We traveled 4 hours home instead but if you want a place to stay that's 9 miles from the park choose best western Welwyn city homestead .

Had a very lovely day here - enjoyed both the animals and the dinosaur walk! My only moan would be the food - massive queues and fairly massive prices - £3.20 for a coke being an example!

Dinosaur land was good my 3 year old granddaughter loved it. Thought the train ride an absolute rip off - this should be free. Not enough animals - white lions were new to the park I believe but concerned about the amount of space they had. Take your own lunch because even though the prices were ok for a park, the queue was horrendous. Just not enough staff, although the girls behind the counter were very friendly and polite. They just need to sort out the system a bit better. Good amount of play areas for the little ones, also had a little pool at the rear of the park. Worth a visit

We had a family day out at the wildlife park it was amazing! The animals were so well cared for . The dinosaurs were out of this world! Scary at times but fantastic, we were there from 10am & left at 4.as the little ones were tired but we didn’t see it all! Can’t wait to visit again

The new dinosaurs land is really good the animals what we saw were awesome.. but the service received was appalling in the food area went to the main food hall to get some food to wait 20 minutes and only move 2 spaces forward with such a long queue. So left and went to dino bites instead which was over priced and not very nice a hotdog £4.60 no onions waited ages slow service not impressed (think they needed some sort of management in both places as the main one they were to busy talking to each other than focusing on the customer)if you go take a picnic it be much quicker. Personally I think it's to expensive for what it is but I understand how much it cost to look after the animals.

Took our 14 month old granddaughter and she thoroughly enjoyed herself. We thought Jurassic World was impressive. I haven't been here since my own children were small and I think it was well worth the money.

Took a group of kids with special needs here and they loved it. The staff were really helpful and it was just the right size. It's not like the huge zoos where you do loads of walking, it's perfect for younger kids or our group of special needs. Lots of accessible areas and lots of places to go inside if it rains too.

A well laid out park. Lots to see and do, but pricey and some activities are extra.

Great day out had by the 5 of us, usually go Woburn and Whipsnade so a nice change. Not sure I was happy with added costs, i.e. Golf, Train, add lunch and ice creams then you're looking at a very expensive fay out but it was good.

We had a great day at the zoo, it was lovely seeing the animals, they are really well looked after, 5 stars for value, and experience, my favourite part of the grounds was the dinosaur world, very well thought and seems realistic!!! Cant wait to visit again and see the new enclosures next year.... highly recommended for all ages

For a relatively small zoo the variety of animals here is astounding. An excellent place for the whole family to attend if however you prefer to have a quieter time and not get trampled by an army of push chairs I would suggest going during the week or outside of school holidays. Despite missing a few toes courtesy of some careless buggy drivers will 100% be attending again and will be looking into doing the animal experiences here as well
