Love receiving Gift Bags from Lance James! These ladies certainly know their stuff and forever assist me with my jewellery problems from repairs and polishes to custom making me beautiful pieces. My husband frequently shops from my wish list in store, I filled it out pre-birthday for free and tend to top it up for each event. Nothing is too much trouble for the team, great service and always a friendly welcome!

I have repeatedly headed back to see Sian at Lance James whenever I have wanted anything made. I bought one of their range of 'pebble' bracelets and have been hooked ever since. From copper engraved rings made for an anniversary present, to restoring a 50 year old engagement ring they offer a really friendly helpful service

Great service! They re-sized my ring which was bought for me from another jewellers who didn't want to do it. they had no problem in doing so. I had my ring back at the stated time and the agreed price and it was a perfect fit! Cannot recommend them enough!

I had searched for a long time without finding the design I was looking for, and hadn’t considered having it made until I came in to see you. I would like to say a huge thank you to all the girls at Lance James Hertford, what can I say from the beginning moment my husband and I got engaged we knew you guys were the only place to go shopping, you were all so helpful with showing us different stones, metals and designs to actually finding my dream ring!. Then repeating the same magic with helping us to pick our wedding bands, you made it such an easy process to custom make my wedding band to match my engagement ring and I cannot thank you enough for how amazing it is, I am over the moon with happiness!. Lastly I have to mention the amazing job you girls also did on the custom made and engraved silver guitar pick for our best man. Jackie and her team at Lance James the Jewellers Hertford are brilliant! Always a really warm welcome when I pop in - not just for me but my little dog too! I've been using Jackie for nearly 10 years, for all sorts of jewellery jobs, from tiny repairs to bigger commissions. I completely trust them to not only give me expert advice but to do a brilliant job. Most recently, my sister had the bright idea to turn her silver christening mug into a bangle - it looks fantastic (and is no longer sitting in a cupboard...) - can't wait to see what Jackie is going to create from mine!
