Nigel Mills gives his backing to a new self-help group starting next week in Ripley, which is aiming to help people at risk or involved in self-harm.

Nigel Mills MP welcomed yesterday’s Investing in Britain’s Future announcement by the Treasury, which outlined the Government’s investment strategy for Britain and detailed information about the future of Amber Valley’s infrastructure.

Residents in Derbyshire are invited to fight back against fake lotteries, get rich quick schemes and bogus prize draws. The 11 day Scamnesty project started on 20th May and runs until the end of the month.
Following the serious outbreak of measles in South Wales, Derbyshire County Council are urging all local parents to get their children vaccinated against this potentially deadly disease.
