Has a fabulous meal here. There was a great choice of Sea Food. The mussels were delicious and huge. Seabass was gorgeous.

In the middle of our bike ride from Saint Pierre and after all the forts of the north coast (sun and strong wind) this was the ideal place for a lunch break.

Fantastic once again. Great location, friendly welcome from the staff and food really is a real delight. Has to be a must visit when on the island, certainly will not disappoint. The tagliatelle tonight with crab prawn and octopus was just amazing. To maintain the standards that is achieved here really deserves recognition. A very easy 5 stars!

We had the friendliest welcome and an absolutely delicious supper, with just the right level of service. There were four catches of the day on top of an enticing menu; we had two (sea bass and scallops) and both were sublime. We bought our wine by the glass from an excellent selection that was also really good value. Highly recommend!

Lovely setting, really great service by Susie and the food was totally amazing. Went home full but still had food envy when i saw other peoples food come out of the kitchen.
Will definitely have to go back to try more of the menu.

Excellent food made with quality ingredients. The Sea Bass was cooked perfectly, and I'm told by my companions that the Yorkshire Puddings were the best they'd ever tasted.

Only gave it 4 stars as the menu wasn't as rich as the one we had beg Oct which was absolutely fabulous. Should have done a review then! Think with all the parties in December they had to reduce their menu.
Also there were only a few other diners so less of an atmosphere. Good evening nevertheless and look forward to returning in '23.

Booked Saltwater for a birthday celebration, couldn't have made a better choice.

A nice location and a casual atmosphere as described. The food wasn’t bad at all it was however a bit frustrating that the staff tried to remove our plates a few times asking if we were done eating where I think the code or how cutlery is placed should say enough.

This place is just fab! And a must try! Without a doubt one of Guernsey’s hidden gems! The staff & team who run Saltwater are hard-working, dedicated & friendly. You feel a warm welcome from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. We had the Sunday roast which was incredible! Feels like home cooked food but served in the lovely & cosy ambience of the Saltwater restaurant. The roast potatoes are to die for! (just as good as anything cooked in the oven at home! Crunchy on the outside, fluffy in the middle with a nice garlicky flavour!) absolutely delishhh, and there was no shortage of gravy either! Which let’s face it, is a make or break for a roast dinner! Not forgetting the delicious starters & puddings too! The crab cakes were crispy, light & packed full of flavour, and the cherry Bakewell tart was insane! Short, buttery pastry, with a cheeky little cherry filling served with creamy vanilla ice cream, a perfect way to end a perfect meal! Can’t wait to return again very soon🤩

Usually a complete critic through and through, but honestly could not find fault with any of the food eaten. High end food, that seeps more quality then you can imagine, for any outing or hosting this is a great place to visit.

Incredible food, the presentation and quality is as good as a fine dinning restaurant we choose from the Autumn festival set menu wow for the price and lots to choose from, (steak was absolute perfection) with fabulous service, Cherry on top was the deserts brilliant, We will definitely be back, best restaurant in Guernsey
